Is there an age requirement for HSPS?

The Reserve's STRAP and reserve and active HPSP require you to be fully accepted into a CRNA program and then you work with a recruiter. There is no "military CRNA school." I believe neither STRAP or HPSP count towards retirement. USAGPAN is an active duty problem that admits cilvilans; full active duty pay and benefits with school 100% paid for, and the 3 years in the DNP count towards your 20 years to retire. 5-year AD service obligation for a total of 8. You can finish the 12 in the reserves to make 20. If you consider 3 years of not losing your income, retirement, benefits, no school debt, no interest, and you had 50% of the stress of a civilian SRNA; spread that over the 5 years and add it to the pay for the 5 years, i think you make out pretty good. It's also a civilian school that contracts with the military, not a military school.

Great information, I am 32 and I have been an ED Nurse for 4 years. I am interested in becoming a CRNA, and I also like the military. Although I could take a loan for school and some scholarships hopefully, I have responsibilities and was worried about getting paid while in school for 3 years. I appreciate how you took the time to explain the different opportunities offered in the Army. If I was to do a 3 year program, does that mean I have to be reserve for 6 years? Thank you

Hey sfc I’m just a little confused about the strap program. I know I need my bsn and have to work at least a year in a critical care. But is the crna school in the civilian side? Or through army reserves? Also after the crna program can I work as a crna in the civilian side? Thank you Great video
