I saw them play this live in San Bernardino CA. Years ago. It was an experience I will never forget

I love that Qotsa can just toss out a jam that most bands would happily build their careers on

I love how in the intro/post solo section, Alfredo plays that bass drum pattern different to the record, and it's such a delicious, dance-y beat. Reminds me of like 80's/90's electronica.

I was the soundman and road manager for this tour! CBGB's was a legendary punk club, but the stage was pretty small for all their gear. I played there myself with Christ on Parade in the 1980's.

One of my First tatto was the neurosis tao deathandlife...saw them in 1996 and 1999 in Rome two Stones over my head ...the only band that play minor chords that move into depth of your soul. Love them also if Scott is a psychotic

They're off here... honestly the worst performance of this song ever 😅

My fav era of this band. The 1997 album is so mature. Similar to Carcass, I think both bands by their 3rd/4th albums matured beyond belief. The musicianship is mind blowing here.

Someone help me. I can’t for the life of me work out what they’re playing at the beginning… truthfully, it sounds terrible. But that jam at the end, madon’ 🤌🏼

Hammer. Immer wieder.

how are they making their guitars sound like that at the beginning?? is it just an echo? it’s so eerie I LOVE IT.

Saw them a few times in early 90’s. My favorites. A promoter would o be into my tower records art room and ask who I should bring. I picked the coolest shit ever for Vegas. The best bands ever in that day. I flew to see nirvana or road trip to nirvana. Epic. No cell phones. Just rock n roll fantasy.

For me, this will always be one of those utterly legendary gigs. One of my absolute favorite bands, playing some of my favorite songs of theirs, in my hometown. Shame I was only 2 years old when it went down.

After 11 shows now, and seeing everything from the Fun Machine, to Straight Jacket Fitting live, it still somehow doesn't convey what they had during this time/tour. Was probably the longest I've ever seen em play by far, and the catalog was smaller back then, which meant, when you got a deeper cut, you got GOLD. Easily in the top 3. As, was the last show with Str8 Jacket live....other one, too close too call. Either era vulgaris tour...or Lollapalooza 03 with Nick & grohl & lanegan

Whilst Blues for the Red Sun & Sky Valley are the 2 better records, Their 1995 album really has some underrated gems like this one.
