I'm going to catch up on Sandi Brock's channel, if that's ok. She's been showing some hay/canola/soy/corn footage for a bit of time now.

I'm not as experienced as Norma below, so I want thank you for the information. I drive a man (93 in 2024) to Mass every Sunday who loves to remind me that I know nothing about where our food comes from. He's right. So thank you for teaching me and others who are citified that we need you and your family (and others around the world) and to thank you for your hard work. Thank you for all you do.

I thank you for your videos. You and your wife, and others that I watch, remind us of where our food comes from. I do have a question. The black box pointing out the front of window of cabin of the combine, what is that?

Thank you for coming back. I am an 87 year old woman raised on a small 80-acre dairy farm in Boise, Idaho. We started with a team of horses and then graduated to a Ford 9N tractor. In the summer I worked with my dad from dawn till dark. I milked, plowed, and cried as I raked hay behind the slowest horse in the world. Sometimes the folks would leave for 24 hours leaving me to milk 24 head of cows and do all the morning chores before getting on the school bus at 7:30. Sooo, I so much enjoy watching you and Sandi!! You are so so smart, and your equipment boggles my mind! Your teamwork reminds me of me and my dad. He would say to me, “Sweetheart, if you will help me with the chores, I’ll help you clean the house.” Hard work then and now is still hard work. Long days then and now are still long days. I like to ride along with you in the tractor, enjoying the wide open spaces and, yes, watching you work. What the two of you know leaves me in awe! I thank both of you for sharing your lives with me.❤

Dude, these videos are awesome!! My parents were old-school farmers before they moved to the city (they did watermelon, cantaloupe, cotton, and pecans, mom did some dairy cow stuff and dad some goat shepherding) so it’s really interesting to see how more modern farming works. My family’s farm is practically in the desert so they gotta ration out water and actually water the crops themselves, but this large scale farming is SO cool to see!

I found this vlog fascinating. Not a farm girl but have so much adoration for farmers. You're a jack of all trades, CFO, CEO, COO. You're doing a great job managing this operation. Keep up the great work.

Prayers for your family and especially Jessie. Personally, I had to be put flat on my back before I looked up. "He *maketh* me lay down in green pastures." It's half way through 2023 and I'm curious of where you are at in your fields, i.e. weather, diversity of crops etc.

Retired so watching more than I use to…. primarily Vlogs made by the Brock family!! Love to see how you and your family handles the day to day life that’s changing all the time and the individual ones from Sandi to see what’s happening with the sheep, and the ones from Jess and her day to day life and handling all of her health issues….enjoy them all thanks!!!

Watching this 3 years after your trip Mark and you bought three consistently wet years for us with La Niña, the emerald area you visit in this vid got some good moisture to the south and had local flooding around but Lake Maraboon (the major dam also called Fairburn) still hasn’t made it above 41% in its level. El Niño is starting now so hopes for that catchment area and the farmers with irrigation licenses for that water have to be disappointed

Queensland is a tropical climate. It actually rains a lot and floods. That's why many houses in certain areas are built elevated. It's amazing how many foreigners feed into stereotypes about countries.

Having spent my entire life in the city, with some interest in cars and gas/diesel pick-up trucks, this is very enlightening - I had no idea there were gas-engine tractors, I always figured they were diesel-engine! I also didn't realize such a variety of tractors were needed for different jobs around the farm . . . but it makes sense! 😄 I have family in Iowa that either had a farm, or work on the sales side of farm equipment (IH and ?), I never thought to ask them about any of this. Thank you for sharing this.

Watching this makes me miss driving truck during harvest. Instead of the buggy loading a tractor with bins to the grain elevator, it loaded into a 54' grain trailer on the old International and I groove it down to the grain elevator at the Port about an hour away. Two of us were back and forth all day alternating to keep it going without shutting down to wait. Hot, long, dusty days, but it was peaceful and beautiful.
