With issue 2 I had that loud noise as well and had the coolant thermostat housing and coolant switch and new glow plugs put in now the car is very quiet

I’ve had my 2022 Qashqai since Sept 2022 and nothing but issues. I’m just counting down till Aug 2025 to give it back. Nissan are a waste of space, very poor after sales service. I wish I had seen this video before forking out nearly £300 a month. Looks lovely, comfortable drive, but it’s not normal to have so many things wrong.

How do I put an antena on this? It is just impossible and the tv doesn’t seem to have an internal antena. I am stuck with Samsung tv plus and it’s horrible

In fairness, if you are the sort of person like me who prefers a small TV of this size viewed from a distance of around 2 metres (as is the case with me), 4K versus 1K all other things being equal is going to be really hard to discern. You would see much bigger differences with the quality of the encoding of the source material. That said, 4K would still be nice to have regardless and yes, for gaming when you might be only 50 or 60 cm away from the screen then 4K would make a significant difference. I still have my Full HD LG LB6500 from 2014 and still love it. I would have bought an LG 4K 32 inch to replace it if only because my current TV is a decade old. But it seems that the only 4K 32 inch TV being made today is a Samsung and even then only in some markets (not here in Australia).

But are there any better 32" FullHD TVs out there? I certainly don't know of any that are QLED. It's got to be the highest end 1080p currently being produced, no? I mean, a high end 1080p TV probably hasn't been produced for about 10-12 years now. I wonder how this would hold up against an old Panasonic Viera VT50 plasma, or some of Samsung and LG's 2012/ 2013 OLED FullHD TVs. It seems like the only 1080p TVs dominating the market are TCL, Roku and Vizio. All of which are low end.

My Qashqai has random "crash warning light " on with message " system failure " at least twice per week then goes off again . last year ABS warning also , took it Nissan under warranty to be told diagnostic check £100 plus vat is not covered , on checking found connection fault on front ABS wheel sensor . You Tube search shown same issue for other people with10,000 views so not a one off fault , they replaced connection said a stone must have damaged it , ( bull**it ) bill for £216 despite being under Nissan Warranty , I have just received a nice leaflet in the post asking if I would like to extend warranty for another 12 months £420 ? why on earth should I extend a useless warranty . The most unreliable part of any modern car is the tech , warning lights and faulty sensors so a warranty that doesn't cover them is useless . I WILL NOT BUY ANOTHER NISSAN .

I agree with what was said about quality issues with Nissan today. Yes the problem is the partnership with Renault. I have had Renaults and many problems arose with ownership of them. The mk2 Qashqai had no problems or issues because I believe ownership was with Nissan, since the link up quality of parts and workmanship has gone down..

Have a 2018 model quashqui. Heater blower motor runs high speed constantly cannot switch off. Dealer says resistor controller faulty. Dealer cannot get new part from nissan no explanation why. I have complained to nissan direct. Awaiting reply from same. I have been told will be contact by complaint manager next 48 hrs. We shall see.

I had (have) issues 3, 4 and 8 in 2016 Qashqai (UK). Also the air intake part for the motor was rattling, similar to the noise in issue Nr 2. Solved by me with insulation tape. At some point the control panel (music, SatNav, etc) started to reboot randomly. This was fixed by Nissan as the guarantee was still valid. The stop-start (I refer here to the automatic one) doesn't work when the car is cold. after some 20 minutes of driving, I switch off the car manually and then it will work after restarting it. Still, I am happy with it, everything works well, nothing in the interior peels off or decolorates/cracks by sunlight, good connectivity with my phone. I use it a lot (1500 miles monthly) with heavy loads often. After 100K miles, it has never let me down on the road. Mine is a Tekna 1.5. No car is perfect, I had American cars with much worse problems (computers disconnecting while driving, temperature warning not working, etc).

Not sure about why one would like this flat mount when the result is this: 0:06. A HDMI and power cable can be pulled through an in wall tube, this connector cannot. I would have hanged it 25cm lower, with the brick behind it so you cover and use the wall sockets.

Hi Henry. This is a very late comment, but I feel it may be of use to more recent owners. I have had a 2017 Qashqai 1.2 for 18 months now. It has only done 17K miles admittedly, but I have had no issues whatsoever. I guess you were unlucky.
