Of course you can't expect today's system of rules and regulations to be super happy for you to build a temple. They don't even know what it is. Something like this needs to be grown organically, so a yurt sounds perfect. I am a little concerned though that your thoughts immediately went to dubious yoga teachers and not Siberian Shamanism at the mere mention or a yurt

I have an old rusted Iron rod I took from an old ruined mill that was presumably part of the wheel , No particular reason, I just thought it was a cool part of history and I knew when the winter came the river would likely take it. I'm very interested to experiment with it magically now as I feel that it too like horse shoe may have become charged through it use.

You know, it might be that the Yurt is the temporary structure, and through your work, and inviting people to the temple, more people come to support, and perhaps you then build a new temple together collectively somewhere else? Actually buy land through a group fund, enough space to gather and camp, cook, etc, for the whole ceremony time...

Yes!! I am STILL trying to figure out how to speak to the ones I want to, because all my immediate ancestors were colonizers and intense racists, and I don't want to talk to them. I'm trying to reach back waaaaay beyond them... to the ones that lived before Christian colonization brutalized my bloodline.

I do have contact to a sort of collective of ancestors. They give me energy, love and feeling of belonging and direction. Not in words but a sort of knowing. Mabey it sounds strange, but it is real to me. But I never "talked" to "one" of them.

While most people wonder how to start working with ancestral spirits, I am looking for a way to completely separate myself from them and all human spirits (I only want to have other non-human beings with me)

I love your videos and channel, sir! I practice Native American paganism, Taino to be specific. And I always appreciate what I can scrounge of traditional Lowland Germanic beliefs. In a world of senseless noise, ignorance, and apathy to societal destruction, the most important thing is to listen to the spirits, or wights as you likely call them. They're always around. Just a few hours ago, I was standing under a big tree where a hawk was perched. I live where the Lenape once called home, and took it as a sign I should take concrete measures to block out the nonsense going on that I catch wind of. It's more important to focus on what can be changed than can't. Getting way to crazy here in America. May our Gods meet at the crossroads of Coaybay and Helaheim. 😌🙏

This video has helped me a lot, to know of such visions. Cause for the last six months, since May of last year till now I've had the same dream over and over. A dream of a gate opening and a sea of aether (magic) flowing back into this realm of existence. Don't know if it means anything, since im new to having visions but they run in my family. But dont know who can explain what it means. But thank you for sharing this! I've been an atheist most of my life. I was babtized and confirmed in the Norwegian church. But I never really believed. It never came natural to me. It felt foreign and I didn't belong. I'm not a member of the Norwegian church anymore. I was born and raised as a person of the sea, known in Norwegian as "Kystfolk." This is where I truly belong. I hope all people in Europe find their roots and abandon these arbrahamic religions.

Lovely video Reny! Learning about the cyclical nature of the time cycle often found in Pagan tradition has helped me understand that things will keep going on in this cirucular manner, also after my death. That also means that not only will there always be another tomorrow, these changing times are also completely outside my own control. It honestly helped me relax in these crazy times. Let the wheel of time turn. From good times to bad times back to good times. Our ancestors got through some tough shit and so we may go through tough shit. May we learn from their toil so that we may go through our own. May the ancestors be our guides and the gods our inspiration!
