I replaced a runner already after a successful installation. Pulled the draw all the way out and went to return draw into slide and it grabbed a bearing and bent it all out of shape sending the first 2 bearings rolling onto the floor. These rails are not cheap , this is the 2nd rail I've lost bearings on now. I'm about to give up. 1000mm heavy duty lockable draw slides.

The person in that video has not been using tools for more than a few weeks at best. At least pay someone who is good with their hands to demonstrate assembly.

What is the software that you use to make such animations? Do you use cad file to prepare the models in this animation?

It was only a few seconds into the video and I knew this was not going to be helpful. This guy is trying to draw a straight line while using the curved edge of the slider.

The 250mm slimline slides don't seem to be full extension even thought they are advertised as such. Has anyone used these successfully? Am I just a dumb dumb that's missing something??? haha

Be aware if your thinking of buying the 1200mm Extra Heavy Duty drawer slides that they sell at Bunnings. This is not how they’re installed and more importantly they do not come apart once they’re installed. Very frustrating, I called Goliath and they don’t want to know about it. Plenty of other drawer slides out there so I wouldn’t waste your time or money.

The absolute most important part of all and they didn't mention it! How much smaller should the drawer be than the cabinet. In other words how thick are the slides. I have found out from using these sliders that it is critical. You only have 0.2 mm leeway, so you have to get the measurements excruciatingly accurate.

This is a two-minute clip of watching a guy unscrewing and screwing a nut! Never mentioned what size hole needs to be cut to insert vent. 1/10

I have bought the 500 mm DS500HD slides . It says you can weld the main runner to the cabinet , which i need to do . I don't want screws sticking out through the sheet metal . The problem is that the cabinet hardware seems to be unable to be dismantled like the drawer rail is . If i weld this assembled , i am sure that the plastic ball retainer will melt . Is there away to dismantle the 2 inner pieces that mount on the cabinet side ?

Why to they turn the wrong way. Even old mate in the vid went to do it closing the toolbox. Can it be changed to turn the opposite direction?

Video does not explain how to remove internal member from rest of drawer slide - if you have selected the runner with the push to open mechanism. Lever referred to in the video at Step 2 is only accessible once you get the unit apart, which is not explained. The answer is to put the runner horizontally across your lap with the ball bearings facing upwards then push inwards on the Right Hand end metal end (which is opposite to the end with the grey plastic semicircular pattern which would be on the Left hand side, facing upwards). It will pop open easily. Then flip the unit over in order to separate out the inner part. Look for the black lever and push away from your body to release the inner part.

Umm 😐 nothing sus about looking under the table to plug yourself in. Other than that, good ad.

Sound? What is the combined gap between the width of the drawer and the inside carcass width? So much done without explanation. Minimum carcass depth/clearance. is there a setback of the fixed slide from the front edge? øportunity lost to teach and give confidence to customers they can do the task comfortably.
