Enabled both settings on firestick and tv but no luck, only way I can control firestick is with fire tv app

Tbh the firestick remote app is better. The app also allows you to type on your mobile phone using the keyboard.

My TV remote worked my fire TV cube did it automatically i t ask do I want to pair remote press a button and it paired

I have a Hitachi TV but mine is on them both but when I change channels it goes off my HDMI to a channel like 64 but don’t change my cube channel
