The MOD on the z930m is why that deck doesnt perform well and why the q865r without MOD cuts alot better. Many people have issues with the MOD cut quality. Im glad to see these new stand on mowers from deere are doing well for you!

And you need to remove all the downed large material first as well……. Your equipment won’t last Lind if you keep doing that type project with it…. ITS A LAWN MOWER………NOT A BUSH HOG…… 😂😂😂😂😂

Hey, I’m in Ohio as well. Have you had to put northern baffle kit on the ZK’s? I switch from Scag Vride 2 and not real happy with the cut of ZK. What blades and set up have you found works best for ZK in all fescue? Appreciate ya ,
@Boglawn22
@Boglawn22 Ай бұрын
No I have not used a northern baffle kit. I’ve heard about em. Wet cut quality is crap for sure. Dry we have no problems. Prob the biggest reason you’re seeing a difference coming from scag is scag is kind of like my Deere it’s more of a wide open deck design. There thoughts was get the grass outta the deck as fast as possible. Wright , emark and ALOT of other brands use the baffles there idea is to cut the clippings up as much as possible before shooting it out. “Less grass left to look brown in 2 days”. If that makes sense. You would get on my Q865r and feel right at home like you was on the scag it will shoot grass to far some times I have to keep houses and cars etc in mind 😂

I was looking at Kawasakis website at these engines. They have graphs showing the hp and torque curves up to 3600 rpm. This new evo makes its max torque at 3600 along with its max hp at 3600. If you look at their other engines, max torque is made at a lower rpm. Although the fx1000 efi still makes more torque, its torque curve lowers at max throttle. So considering your cutting at max rpm most of the time anyways, the torque output is very close at 3600 rpm. Im excited to see how this thing performs long term and if they decide to make a even bigger evo engine. If so, It will deliver insudstry leading power for sure!

Wow ! I'm a bedliner repair man (2.5 years on the job ) for one of GMs reputable spray on company . And I can tell you the bubbles are either water bubbles or the spray gun had a bad mixture from the 2 part epoxy/ spray . And the sand marks.... Just an amateur sanding / grinding job. Something like yours I would sand it and shape the grooves with a grinder and then apply another spray again . The bubbles are cut and dried and smooth out (grind or sand) and will be covered by the spray . Worst case if I was right about the mixture. Then I would tear it off ( it's a pain in the ass as it can take days to remove it all) and sand it to bare metal and prep it for a fresh spray. I hope that was fixed properly. I noticed this has been a year already. . .
