The so called "Reset button" is in fact just a rubber grommet covering the Timing marks. Pull the round metal cover of the faulty motor and you will see the gears and small timing circle marks

When I installed my quick release I took the controls out and my vdc system turned off and causes my z to not have traction control, is that because of the cruise control harness needs to stay in?

Just so you know Nissan OEM power steering fluid is red. So don't just go by color it doesn't mean anything

For anyone who will be doing this with the provided kit in his description: The blue t-tap that he uses in the video is not rated for 18 guage wire, and did’nt “bite” into the wire deep enough to make a stable connection (this took me a long time to figure out, but it was definitely the problem). Instead, I used the red t-tap included on the kit that was rated to 18 guage. Just thought i’d let you guys know my experience!

Great video young Man, and appreciate your hilarious rant about folks covering various auto repairs and leaving out vital steps and info! 😆👍 Excellent step by step, and appreciate also the tip for manually raising the window successfully by only lifting the switch one click, as opposed to fully-up-2nd-click "auto". Thank you again, best (and most entertaining video) for this job! 😉

Whats with the fake ghetto accent that seems to come & go? 😂
@civilwar-xy1cr3 ай бұрын
I can totally understand attempting to get it out and failing amd having to regroup and finish the video later. There have probably been some suicides related to miata starter removal and instalation. These cars really arent that easy to work on in the first place and then the starter goes out. Its ok its doable just dont think youre going to do it in the morning an hour before you have to go to work.

I dont install the stupid 3rd bolt
@civilwar-xy1cr3 ай бұрын
You can save some time by just cutting a hole in the passenger side floor .I recall having to do that because there are three bolts. The two normal ones and the stupid third one you cant get to unless you cut hole in floor
