I never filed for bankruptcy. I do know this with my GED having behind. People who judge or look down on it are ignorant. Heck! You have a refresh/restart button! There are many people on KZfaq who are millionaires now who admitted to the Chapter 7 one too. And most keep saying within a year they got credit cards and car notes again. Our country is awesome! Heck! Some people file more than twice! Check those stories out. After you file it's fresh again. 💪💪💪

If u have a chapter 7 u can apply immediately after chapter 7 it's the best bankruptcy it forgive all old debt u will not get higher lines until a year to 2 years but ur score should hit above 750 are higher if u take care of ur cards right after my chapter 7 I got 300 bucks 24 months later I got a house Mercedes Benz and now over 30 plus k in credit cards

I’m filing in the next few weeks. Getting the last of the $$ for the fees together now and I’m in contact with an attorney. Thankfully I’m not behind on anything but it’s only because I’m using credit cards to pay everything I can and that only made matters worse. I got in this situation when my wife was diagnosed with cancer only a month after she gave birth to our twin girls. Then I lost my job and I’m now making half what I was making. Since learning about the process I wish I had done it sooner. I’ve been stressing and struggling with finances for so long and it doesn’t have to be this way. This is why we have bankruptcy laws. Life happens and people need to start over.
