That is not a caterpillar original oil filter Is a baldwin oil filter Google for the párr number and the micrón filtration

Last winter in NORCAL sierras (5000,7000agl) i installed the cover. (we measure snowfall in yards here, not inches). Heres my anecdotal observation: - truck ran alot warmer 210 to 214 on grades (6-7%) -regen cycles stopped altogether even when idling for extended periods -I think mileage slightly improved I dunno what ran recomends but i think it needs to be below 20f before the cover is necessary or usefull.

It is possible you have a noisy fuel injector but it would take a lot more Lucas and a longer time period to effect this tick than you allowed. The other tick possibility besides lifter is a cracked exhaust manifold that seal up when hot!

Wow really?! I have a 2019 ram 1500 and I hate that noise I already took it to the dealership and they replace some stuff ( I don't really believe that ) and they told me the noise is totally normal 😅

I get 23mpg highway and 19mpg city on a 6inch lift on 35inch mud tires. I put Hotshot secret fuel additives every fill up in my 2016 Ram 2500 it has the 68rfe trans.
