The intro to this song is how they would introduce Death Letter live - I think he wrote this song to capture that on a studio album. Both are just incredible.

Thank you for posting this I have not seen this concert before. It is basic and raw, the foundation they built on to fabulous effect. I wish I had seen them live but too late now.

I love how it was suddenly remembered after I think his nephew brought up the song when Jack and Meg performed at the Chicago Ballroom I belive around 2003 and i guess ended up making this little master piece.

Try doing this on a second hand plastic guitar in front of thousands of people. Jack White deliberately made his instruments hard to play with so his skills could be contained to a place where regular people could hear the music.
