Please someone plead the author to reunite Xiang Liu and Xioyao.. It’s really heartbreaking to see him leave without a single trace in her life. I have read and seen so many tragedies but never cried for a fictional character death. But Xiang Liu’s character has hit me on a different note. It’s really painful to accept his death.

The chemistry between two of them was insane❤ I love everything about this relationship apart from the end. Him being most amusing of them all. Taking her out for drinks, meals, casino, teaching her archery, supporting her and having a meaningful conversations with her. Saving her future husband, then sacrificing two of his lives to save her life. Let’s add the way he looks at her, his mischievous smile, and sharp joke and we get the definition of passion and love that knocks you out of your feet. And all of this to making him die at the end, completely alone, with her tear in his eye and last thought of her. And the fact the she was not even around while he was dying and never seen what we have seen on the screen is more heartbreaking. It will definitely leave the wound in my heart and I do want badly for them to end up together.

😢 I think so the drama name is being set due to the reason that xiaoyao lost xiangliu forever who had protected her but also taught archery so that she can protect herself so sad on the death of nine headed serpent my favourite xiangliu 😭

i like this version. in retrospect if thy hadnt ended up together, it would've been fine too. Zisheng would've been miserable, certainly, but Shaoshang would've spent her whole life proving to him what it is to never go back on their words. she could've forgiven him, but she swore she'd never be with him again. sometimes, no matter the reason, if your trust in someone is broken you can't ever see them the same way again. everything Zisheng would do or say after they got back together, Shaoshang wouldn't be able to help but be suspicious. even if he is being truthful, is there another motive? is he playing a double game, is there a double meaning? is he truly doing these things for her out if sincerity or is there some benefit woven into it? she once said, "not everything needs a reason." and its teue, when you love someone yoy do things for them without cause or reason. but with Zisheng she wasn't able to experience that. she thought she did, but it turned out she was just a cover behind which his plans unfolded. anyway maybe i like angst too much 😂 I'm happy with how the show ended with them with their whole family. except I'd have liked Zisheng to grovel before Shaoshang agreed to be with him again, he didn't even utter an "I'm sorry" to her and girlie forgave him 🫠 which seems soooo out of character for her. he thought he didn't deserve her forgiveness so he didn't even ask for it... once again, the acts of not understanding what she wanted or letting her make her own decisions continues... and she forgave him anyway. gosh.
