Just picked a brand new 2023 (Nov build date) 2.7 big bend with Sasquatch and mid level. Coming over from a Wrangler JLUS 2.0t. So far, fuel economy is pretty much the same, but that’s using regular gas in the bronco vs premium in the wrangler. We also have a 2029 wrangler JLUS 3.6, and fuel economy is dead on the same. We have a soft top with a hard top ordered, but so far the wind noise isn’t that much worse then the wrangler with the factory hard top. The bronco does handle better on the highway and bends, and handles the bumps better. Love the blue color and the interior, it’s a lot more spacious than the wrangler. So far, so good.

Sorry, did I doze off and miss it or did you mentioned Ranger in the headline but then not talk about it? If the 2.7 power train goes for the bronco, will it also disappear in the Ranger and we’ll get a hybrid mid sized pickup also?

I don't care if there is an issue, EVERY SINGLE VEHICLE on the road has an Achilles heel. It's how they go about fixing it that I have an issue with, the Ford tech's love to say the problem is normal or they can't replicate it and that's the real problem!

hi,i like to look and compare.i like the style,i currently have a 2023 jeep renegade trailhawk which wont come in the US anymore, bums me out.anyway i have been surprized with the 1.3 4cyl turbo.i went to slc yesterday and new it would be an extreme test. 440 miles total, 80 mph across salt flats at 100+ degrees and it did good 24.8 mpg.had oil changed today at 3250 miles was down 1/2 qt and little dirty so i see changing oil more often to keep turbo happy plus having to use premium fuel.after saying all that i really like it.the bronco i think would fit me fine when the time comes.thank you

Hi there, Long McArthur gave you props on their live feed tonight. Suggested you are a great resource for Canadian Ford questions. The question that was asked was….. is the Canadian system the same as the US system for allocations and orders, scheduling etc…. This is of interest to me because I ordered a Ranger with a 2.7 from my dealer in Alberta about June 11 and they have no news or information for me. It seems to me that if the CDN system was the same as the US, they would know if they have an allocation and would have a VIN or a schedule by now. I understand the 2.7 is exhausted now so I’m wondering if I should just ask for my deposit back from the dealer and… should I trust them if I decide to order a 2025. In this era, the kind of crap a customer has to go through to order a car is just unacceptable. Cheers

I’m probably in the minority here but I think the Shelby is a more special car. I do love Porsches & especially the way the targa looks: the most elegant retro vibe without being too retro. I think you made the right choice.

As a long time Porsche owner I would advise anyone thinking of buying an older Porsche, particularly one made prior to 2009 when the IMS bearing was an issue, to do some research and see the pros and cons of each model. In addition to seeing service records, a pre purchase inspection by a qualified Porsche dealer is highly recommended. Porsches are great driving cars, but as you know are not cheap to maintain. Good info. Thanks.

The flashing are IR leds so the camera can see your eyes in low light and at night. Works through glasses and sunglasses, too. On the Mach e, the camera is in the middle between the LEDS. On the Lightning, it’s to the left of the right LED behind that lens. The cameras do not connect to any video systems and only talk to an ECU for driver monitoring.

If you have cash to burn…I would say Bronco Raptor. But in general I like the Wildtrak. The back end of the Bronco Raptor just looks off. Granted it looks much better as the painted option, but too much fender flare for my taste. The gas mileage is even worst than the Bronco Wildtrak. The BR is so wide. I could imagine that makes city driving a major pain. Both are awesome and have positive and negatives. I’m sure the Bronco Raptor is the superior machine given all the beefed up equipment, but I like the looks of Wildtrak or Badlands Sasquatch much more.
