Damn man this is sad. I lived all my life in Colton till I was 21 and moved to Albuquerque, and that was almost ten years ago. Time had flown by quick, and it doesn't seem to have done any good for that place. It was always a small town that had its rough areas, but Jesus, it's gotten worse.

I've lived in Rialto since mid 1950's. My husband used to think it was funny that we moved 3 times and each time it was to someplace in Rialto. I am living now in the family home I grew up in. There were parts of Rialto shown in your video I hadn't seen. When I was in elementary school I used to think that it was acting like an adult to complain about things. Listening to your commentary reminded me of that idea. Yes, we are mostly little older houses here, showing our age and not necessarily getting prettier. We arent fancy or high falootin', but it is nice to have a home and most roads are intact and driveable and we have a variety of grocery store options. And, at least in my old neighborhood, the neighbors are kind and generous and thoughtful. So we may have had a few murders over the years and bits of trouble here and there, but that just confirms what Scripture says, that the heart of man is desparately wicked, who can know it? You will see that in the wealthy, mansion-living folks all over the country, the world for that matter. I'm grateful for my home in Rialto.

I used my 74 super beetle for a daily driver for 2 years back in 2014, had very little trouble out of it, and it's worth mentioning that my commute was 140 miles round trip 5 days a week. Snow, rain, and sun. I ended up selling it when i moved but i now use a 75 mg midget as a daily. Yes, they require more maintenance but its really not that big of a deal. They are meant to drive, go enjoy them.
