Steeper angle and you wouldn't have to rake it. Bars instead of a screen are better for handling grass clumps so it doesn't get hung up and just make a thatched roof.

Going to pick up this same trailer this morning. Been wanting one for several years now. Will go great with my Load Trail 22ft equipment trailer. Also, FYI - the trailer weight is 4790, so the max payload is only 9210 lbs.

Good luck with your new trailer they are nice to have around.

Used to remember trucking with theses on the old trailers, we had to tighten the nuts every time we hooked onto them, nuts got loose and the rim would spin on the hub rip off the valve stem. Some drivers over tightened them, stretched the studs and could screw up the spacer ring. Glad they are pretty much gone now

For sure not the nicest thing to work with.

I have read so much conflicting info I don’t know what sealants to use. Some say oil based and others latex. What have you guys learned?
@dirtworxsolutionsАй бұрын
Well I have learned I do not like the new emulsion sealer my supplier switch to so I sold the whole unit didn't like the end product the customer was getting.

Nice machine. Would it still be capable of that demolition if there was rebar or wire in the concrete ? Thanks.
@dirtworxsolutionsАй бұрын
Yes it would just be harder to get the rebar to break or you would need to cut it with an a grinder.

A little more weight on the vibrator will greatly increase separation speed. I’ve used commercial ones for years, it needs to be a little more violent to do the job better.

I’m actually looking at 3 different Yanmar’s right now. A brand new 35 VIO -6B, a 2019 55 VIO and a 2021 40 VIO. I am mostly digging holes for egress windows and doors and pulling out driveways for interlock, but also do land clearing, stump removal and dig septic beds. My biggest issue with the 55 is I only have a 3/4 ton truck with a 16 foot float ( rated for 18k ) and worry the 55 will be a bit heavy on the tongue weight and brakes. I like the 40 a lot but I can get a brand new 35 with 3 buckets ( enclosed cab ) for the same price as the 3 yr old 40. Given you have the 35, how do you think it handles jobs like stump removal and land clearing? I know it can handle the digging work. It will be my only piece of equipment so trying to make the best choice for growth and practicality ( obviously the 4 year warranty on the new 35 is also a big consideration ) Best regards!

The vio35 is a great machine I dig alot of big stumps with it the only problem with just having the 35 is I usually have to load the bigger stumps with my skidsteer because the 35 won't pick them up it can get them out of the hole but not load them into a dump trailer. I would lean more towards the 40 for all around use.

Nice and simple design. Have you considered adding a couple of sheets of 3/4 ply to the insides of the sides to help contain the material? Should make collecting easier.

See that's where i think seal coat company's mess up at why wouldn't you run a pressure washing job right before you seal coat and hit two birds with one stone... Im gonna start getting into this business but i really have been thinking of investing into both and power wash the drive for extra money included into the sealcoat cost.... Idk might just be me but i can't turn down extra money for maybe a extra hour or two too power wash it before it is sealed
