Great tune dude. My only criticism is that it sounds a bit thin in the low-mid range of the mix. Not sure if that's a recording or mastering choice, or some flaw along the way. Regardless, great composition and technical skills!

First of all: Thank you. Then: All music on my channel is 100% self produced and I am not a pro on mixing and mastering and probably never will be. So my recordings DO come at least a little more raw then you should be used of from mainstream productions :) A thing I am always working on, but still. So this sound it is not directly a choice, but what I could do at that time. But as written in the video description there is a little more polished album version I've done for my album "From Darkness to Death". There is still some way to go from that point but I think it is doing well better in the overall sound and low-mid range than this original version of mine.

@@SephirothMusic As I never made any yt videos before it was a challenge in itself to setup everything to capture sound and video. I didn’t want to capture video and sound independently. So I run the guitar into an axe io interface which was also used by Guitar Pro as output device. And because there is no internal loopback I sent the output to an old Behringer mixer to allow for a bit of line level adjustment, then it goes into a 2nd USB interface which is then used as capture device with the video capture software 😆🤓 And then you must capture one clean run 🙈

@@metalex1708 Hehe... this is my first video like this too. I would have done it the way you did but that would have taken waaay to many takes and that for time I didn't have. Even the way I did the whole record and making the video took me around 5 to 6 hours xD By the way... since I am using a Kemper recording is so much smoother than before with my Laney Ironheart studio. (although it was also directly connected to the computer)

@@SephirothMusic recording and mixing is an art all on its own. In my experience I’ve learned to get the initial recording to the best sound quality as possible, then allow someone else, with experience of course, to do the mixing and mastering. But I dig your contribution very cool!!

Oh. No way sir! That would mean no awesome music to the people anymore. And while graveworm isn't too bad they are not exactly my favorite... But you are kind a right... mixing and mastering isn't a thing I totally got into. Especially the time that version here came to existense. But you know... as a solo artist it's hard to effort the money for a professional production. Nowadays it's a lot better still. Ha... of course I am approving this :P And there already is a great metalesque version of One Winged Angel (Advent Children version) I don't have to make one anymore... ;) But on my new album Gods and Nightmares you can listen to a metal version of the original track O Fortuna (from Carmina Burana - Carl Orff) that inspired One Winged Angel... ;)
