I have all three, though not flagship models. Strat is the most distinctive sounding, which to me is a bad thing, it feels like I need to try to emulate other Strat players when playing it. Jazzmaster and Tele are both more of a ‘blank canvas’ tele has the best sounding bridge pickup for gain (almost like a humbucker) but Jazzmaster has the great vibrato for shoegaze so I’m torn between those two!!!!

Looks amazing. I wonder if the Kingtone switch can be wired in at the same time. Also wonder if the Humbucker sounds are louder or the same volume. Guess they are louder which may be a problem if a band is sound-checked on the single coil sound. Still amazing though.

Random question but does anyone know if the cab for this amp is louder than the 15 watt combo?

Worst thing I had happen with mine was the pointy Allen screw cutting one of the strings. I had to sand it round a little bit to stop it cutting the string.

For $2,700.00 out the door and to your doorstep Id think there'd be more than a Maple cap veneer but I guess its the price of wood these days and even the PRS line Wood Library doesn't look as it once did. Great guitar and video.

Chorus made the carbon fiber sound like a 12 string! Both models look and sound great but man, that carbon fiber model SINGS! This guitar looks awesome!

Although it's likely caused by my sloppy playing, I found that round wound strings generate a fair amount of unwanted sounds with this machine. So I switched to flat wounds on the guitar I use exclusively with the GR-55, and it helped a lot.

I live in Russia. I've owned this guitar for 1 year now. It costs us $150. And they started talking about her on KZfaq a couple of months ago. Gentlemen Americans, you are losing your grip. Lagging behind global trends))

Now my strat wont stay in tune like i was retuning it and i would tune the low e string then the a string then i would play the 2 one at a time and they were both out of tune

Wooow 599!!!! Who are you kidding man!!! It's like 80 bucks! And what's the difference between wood and carbon? Do you know? Question! Why don't you play in carbon neck live? Without all effects! Why?

C-mom man put on your beer goggles. All that cosmetic stuff a good luthier can fix ( sort of) tuning machines and pots are pretty cheap to replace.

I think it has a small wooden block under the front and rear and also one under the rear bridge. I have one that is a true hollow body but it has the three blocks under the top. With a light looking through the sound holds you can see the blocks. The only thing I don't like is it changes tuning at different weather condition, you have to retune it. I think I paid Three Hundred dollars for it. My guitar was made in China but it is super nice.

i bought the prs SEsinglecut 594 about 1/2 year ago....great guitar....BUT therre are quality issues (which i didn't have with my older korean made 245Se)....fret sprout, failing electronics switch.....so i ripped everything out , pickups, electronics and switches...even the knobs and pickup frames.....and tuners......now all is good and sounds great....except the fret sprout...haha....and don'task how much i spent either.... today i'll exchange the nut with a graphtech one (cheap at 13.-$)...so....would i do it again...??...maybe not.

I have a 1980 squier which came from Corona. Majority of that era squier were Japanese. Both are great. I changed to a bone nut trees and pegs and it still sounds great. A little heavy compared to today's models. Get a good strap and away we go👌
