Clark is a great airport for international and domestic arrivals and departures. Getting popular slowly. I prefer Clark whenever possible. MUCH better than Manila. BTW, was the financial loss you incurred on your birthday reversed?

I found Cebu Pacific is not reliable if trying to organise connecting flights on the same day. In May they changed the times of a flight from Tacloban to Cebu 3 times within 6 weeks.

Hi Gio & Maya. I’m surprised you kept Maya out of your videos most of the time. Was she sick? No footage of the temple you visited? We only saw the entrance and part of the walkway leading to it. The temple is the highlight. How does the beef in Tokyo compare to the beef available in the Philippines?

can you tell us about the prices everywhere you go please(cost of hotel room, food, train etc')? just small examples in the local currency and converted to USD. my plan is to go visit Japan in 3 months, and stay for just a month. and from there go directly to PHILI. (just a small request before i get there and see how the prices are) Thanks!

First rule of traveling my friend is to get the instruction, then close out the phone open a different map app and locate the destination visually on the map. So, pull from Google maps, and verify it on the map in Yahoo, Maps.me Apple maps. You can never trust one app especially Google. Japan, China, Thailand, Any Eastern European country, are notorious for Google maps sending you hours away if you don't confirm the address by verifying where the destination pin is located on the map.

When I flew Singapore Air from JFK to Cebu, they did the same thing to me. I had a short connection of about 2 hours and they moved back my connecting flight in Singapore to TWO hours before I landed in Singapore. At least they gave me 8 weeks notice. They rebooked me for a 12 hour layover in Singapore. I loved my stay at the airport. If I had to stay in some other airports for 12 hours I think I would have been mad, but the Singapore airport has tons of things to do. I even took a shower and ate at the lounge for $60 (maybe $40, it was a year ago)

Lol….It’s not difficult to get lost and turned around in Tokyo. Many Americans are shocked to find most everything is in Japanese and not English 😂. I try to plot out directions out before I get there. Definitely flying into Cebu is much better. I tell people that if Manila isn’t your final destination DON’T STOP THERE. Not just because of the chaos and confusion, but if you’re unlucky you might run into a dishonest airport worker it’s going to cost you a lot more. Cebu Pacific is ok for the 1-2 hour island to island flights. I wouldn’t trust them for international trips for some of the things that you mentioned and a few others. Did you hear about the Cebu Pacific flight that was turned back from Japan because it arrived too late? They had to land at an alternate airport in Japan because the one that they were going to was closed. That airport only had fuel and no transportation so they came right back to the Philippines. This was just a few months ago.

100% stick to high quality international airlines, direct to Cebu: Eva, Korean Air, Cathay, Singapore, Emirates, Qatar, China Airlines. Worth the extra money for a full-service product

I have experienced the 'lost' sensation before during my travels, the worst was in Bejing. Fortunately I was saved by a sypathetic bank teller and her friend who took time off from work and drove me back to my 'Hutong' after being unable to get me a taxi. And the smallest hotel room I remember was one in Hong Kong, it was expensive and smaller than anything you guys showed in Tokyo. Glad you made it home safe.

Sorry your last day was stressful. We've been back and forth to Cebu from the West Coast US for over 25 years now. NEVER EVER fly a Filipino International airline. KAL, Asiana, EVA are much much better in every way.

2:00 I have travelled the world and lived all over the world and I have never, ever been 2 hrs away from my final destination. Sorry but you should have researched this weeks before going on vacation. I wonder where you ended up? I remember going to Richmond Hotel Narita and staying the night before my flight back to the US. If I was 2 hrs away, I would have known right away.

Google Maps? I’m planning to remove the app from my phone. I live in Las Vegas and used Google Maps to take me to a new restaurant (25 minutes away). It had me taking surface streets with tons of signal lights. I checked the cross streets and took the freeway, got there in 10 minutes.

cebu is an awesome entry point into the p.i. 100% on cebu pacific domestically, I find air delaysia about as bad and without any food or beverage internationally . I guess it depends what you are willing to spend for those features on a 3-4 hour flight, maybe $50 is better spent on buying food before the flight and bringing with. I also bring an empty bottle/cup and get my water for free in the gate area.

I bought a new Toyota Wigo automatic shift back in 2021.....good reliable car ....lacked a delay in power when stepping on the gas to pass on the highway awesome driving in the city....I then traded the car for a new 2024 Wigo automatic shift... much improved shifting and no delay in pickup power...it is cheaper to purchase then the Yaris....test drive the Wigo before you buy the Yaris.
