If I understand your question correctly your pump is starting and stopping rapidly you need to tighten down the pressure switch under the Black cover

We bought the same motor and the plugs give you a size. What size is the hole on the motor going to the well that you used? The plug on mine says 1.2... what the heck it's a 1.2 in plumbing m

How big is your tank and how long does it take the pump to fill it. It says it's spec at 23GPM. Is that accurate? Great video, thanks so much.
@VuduOJ3 жыл бұрын
The pressure tank is Water Worker HT20, so 20 gals. I would say it takes about 10-20 secs to get the pressure in the system from 20 psi to 50 psi. Since what makes it come on is an open faucet, there's usually a drain while it's pumping up the tank. I have no idea whether 23GPM is accurate, but it's plenty to do laundry and shower at the same time.

where do you get that style pressure gauge? back mount,. I have the one horse pump, same style, can only find gauges with stem out the bottom.

It came with the pump when I bought it on Amazon. Maybe they change them from time to time.

When plugged in , doe's it stop on its own or do you have to unplug it ?
@VuduOJ4 жыл бұрын
It stops on its own when it reaches 50psi or so. The pressure tank psi needs to be 28. Their service support is actually very helpful and helped me figure out the setup.

At 4.05 how did u hook up the power?
@VuduOJ4 жыл бұрын
The switch has a power cord coming out of it, which I just plugged into the wall socket. I had to change it from 220v to 110v. It's in the instructions, which I didn't fully read, and the tech support had to tell me to do it.
@guyguy16144 жыл бұрын
@@VuduOJ the black box is a pressure switch. If you dont have one like me and you want to run off a 110 switch. Look inside the plate and hook up L1 and L2 as your hot and neutral. That was the answer to al my problems

How loud is the pump compared to your old pump?
@VuduOJ4 жыл бұрын
I had an Everbilt before, which broke down (they have a pretty bad reputation). Red Lion is a little bit quieter, but it feels more powerful. Sort of like the difference between standing next to a loud Honda Civic without a muffler vs. a Mustang. Both are loud, but differently so. Maybe the difference isn't that dramatic, but noticeable.

Hi,I don't think you turned off the backlight,you just turned it down.
