Yes!! All our current cats are found right in our back yard! I really liked moon of the Crusted Snow and the next book, as well. But the second one is much slower and longer. I Would like to see what you think of Moon of the Crusted Snow!

The struggles between reading your owned books and borrowing from the library is real! Then add in picking up books, especially from LFL... I wonder if I'll ever get my TBR down!!

That's tough, bc the book was lost to an "act of god" or act of Dog which should be treated in the same way!! I was annoyed when I had to buy a new book, but only at myself, bc it was totally my fault! I like the idea of an e reader a lot. They are so easy to carry and bring with you places, you can highlight, or make pages you want to go back to, easy to see! Maybe one day I will use one... Anything that helps reading is OK in my book (no pun intended!).

I'm so glad you liked the video!! I feel exactly the same way! Like drowning. I cannot get ahead of cleaning, decluttering, or basically anything. I recently realized, I don't know how to clean properly, but also that I hate to clean! I know that having too much stuff is part of what is overwhelming me. But I also know I'm not ready to get rid of things, let go of things, yet. So I guess I just need to plug away at it, cleaning and decluttering where I can and be mindful of learning how to do those things better, or to better serve me. It is important to safeguard your home! For physical reasons but for peace of mind, also! I hope you are able to make some headway in that process. My husband uses our dining room table as his office. It's nice in some ways, but I do like to have a separate space. I haven't stood at my standing desk, much, but as I use it more, I'll let you know how I find it! Thank you so much about Flounder. We miss her, but we had a long lovely time together.

Patricia... was really fun and a little zany. I found a vintage copy of King Kong that I had really wanted to read, but I ran out of time. Maybe I'll save it for next year! Which poet would you recommend as the next stepping stone from Mary Oliver for new poetry readers? What should be people next author on their poetry journey in your opinion?

@AnaMoShoshin That's a big question - one idea is to read some anthologies to get a sense of what a whole bunch of poets are like. Oliver fans might be keen on various aspects of her work I guess, such as spirituality, nature, life-writing - any of which could offer roads to go down.

I think I'm gonna do the Library tag and talk about the library and audiobooks in that! I always knew I loved them, but rediscovering the library has rally changed my life!! I'm so glad you love audiobooks, too!

I'm torn bc I really like to read them physically, but the audiobooks are also soo good! I only listened to the first one. If I ever do a reread of the series I might do them all on audio. Yes! I really want to see him write different characters!
