Fee simple does NOT give you ownership of the land... it gives you ownership of 'the title' (meaning the use of) the land... a big big difference. The 'right to use' but not allodial ownership is why you have to pay taxes... it is the condition by which fee simple exists. In essence fee simple means that you are 'tenant in chief' of the land and NOT the true owner. Historically the true owner was the King - now referred to as 'The Crown'

It would be a bad deal even if the land was free and i would not take that land if it was in California if it came with a fully furnished mansion . My issue is not olny myn its over 2/3 the country's nothing is worth living under a marxist communists controlled country. Thank you for acknowledging that a land patent will not give you a blatant pass on property taxes. There is only 1 state that I know of, Washington, which has passed legislation whereby a land patent can exempt you from property taxes, if filed properly.

Are you allow to buy land and just slap an rv on it and call it a day? I'm young and trying to buy a plot of land with no intention of building on it. I work minimum wage and don't need the stress and complication of the cost of living rising thru the roof. 😢

I know housing costs are very high now and I'm very sorry to hear about your struggle. You are not alone 🥲 There are a few areas that allow you to live in an RV on a parcel of vacant land (generally more rural counties), but you will want to be very careful because many counties do have building code or zoning restrictions on RV that prevent full-time use. I would recommend calling the local planning or zoning department to see if full-time RV living is allowed on the property you are looking at. Another option is to try and find or lease a plot in an RV or mobile home park. I hope this helps. Best of luck!

Two stories about folly in on video. Nothing said about the costs for dealing with the end of life for the project. And how much does solar farm cost. From the sound of this, you don' t seem to have actually built a solar farm.

Thank you for your comment, Rick! Most landowners actually lease their land to a company who builds the farm. The lease should generally state that the developer is responsible for the cost of decommissioning and returning the land to its original condition.

Did you file a land patent and get a tax exemption? I doubt it as there is only 1 state that I know of that acknowledges a land patent, in the rest, it is futile and Ron makes his money and is very convencing. He never got mine through.

That's pretty good. but you have to consider what the local employment is like, or if you have to travel an hour or more away for decent employment. Would be a great retirement property if it has utilities and local laws have decent leniency on how long you can have a camper there until the house is built.

Mom bought property “outside Belen” in 1970. It’s still not inside city limits. But it is worth a LOT more than the $300 she paid for it. It has city water & electric curbside. There were no roads when she bought it. If you have small children, buy it. Even if nothing happens for you.

I have never heard of a case where adverse possession only takes a few months. I've usually seen it taking around 10 years, but I would recommend speaking with an attorney.

Hello. I bought a house 3 years ago and my house was built in 1979 but last month my neighbor did a survey and said my house was 8 feet encroaching his property. He told me to pay $5000 so he can fix the situation by giving me .3 acres. Should I pay him or should I go to court?
