A lot of people are bothered because they’ve spent their lives letting other people dictate their choices, they’ve picked lives that they didn’t really want. It’s triggering for many when they realize that they had the right to choose as well, but let others arrange their life for them.

I am genuinely curious (im a mom and have always wanted to be a mom) for those who don't want children, i have heard a lot of women say they enjoy the financial freedom (i feel that cause babeh these chilren are expensive). Would you all ever consider having children if you had an over abundance of wealth or is it the whole package of financial freedom, longer sleep times, and not being responsible for a time human that is inclusive in your decisions? (I have to ask the internet cause all my friends have kids or want them, thanks for any input 🥰)

Nope. I simply don’t like children. I could be a trillionaire and still wouldn’t want them

I can wake up and sleep whenever I want to. I can make whatever I want for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I can buy whatever I want (don't have to think about what someone else needs or want all the time). I get to have a career or pursue whatever I want without the heavy responsibility of motherhood. I get to just get up and go, no child accomodations. I get to express myself and be vulnerable instead of having to appear strong all the time for the sake of the child.

I am so glad to see this because my whole life I have -(well not my whole life)😅 but I've had to hide my happiness of being content without hv n had kids. I love The Little rascals so much I went into teaching them. But I am so glad that I don't have kids not because of the pain of having them but because of the state that men are in right now. They are just not interested in being the team that it takes to build a family right now.😊❤

42, no kids, living my absolute best life lol. Not eternally attached to ANY of my exes, not being called “toxic” by an ungrateful ass kid that’s whining to their therapist despite having the red carpet rolled out for them for their entire life, not dealing with a miniature iPad /iphone addict…life is great!

I'm CONFUSED as to HOW males are held in such HIGH esteem. They use other males anus on the DL because of its tightness, even though they are involved in relationships w/women, they CONSTANTLY grape BABIES & KIDS, they have intercourse w/ANIMALS, & they are the most INSECURE things. Why are women STILL breeding w/ these THINGS???? I COMPLETELY understand women who are CHOOSING to remain child-free & just ENJOYING their lives, not being bogged down w/children who these VILE males BLATANTLY care ABSOLUTELY NOTHING about.

As a 27 year old mother who and wife is one and done to a now 2 year old I applaud women who dare to live their chosen lives loudly and proudly (child free or otherwise)!! My husband and I are constantly being asked when/why we aren't "giving our son a sibling". Honestly, we're quite content and happy with our lives and family. We both wanted to be parents and love traveling and trying new things (our kiddo does great on planes and took his first flight at 10 months old so he shares this love with us 🥰). We realized just how much adjusting, compromise, and costs it would take for another kid and that's just not what we want for ourselves...and our son has already expressed his desire to be "mommy's only baby" 😂🤷🏾‍♀️

36 and didn’t wake up until 1:00 pm. I had a busy day yesterday of shopping, treating myself to dinner, and the new Alien movie (I like scary movies). Then I returned home and had some wine, smoked a joint, and sat on my balcony enjoying my luxury apartment’s calming water fountain. That’s why I woke up so late today. I literally LOVE my life lol

I have a few questions. If anyone would be so kind as to answer for me: 1. Who created this universe? 2. For what reason was this universe created? 3. What objective goal/purpose do humans serve in this universe? 4. What is the reason that I must continue any of this chaotic corruption?

I've always wanted kids but will only have them if they come with a wealthy provider husband who doesn't care whether I work, a push present for each child, a nice home, a nanny, chef, housekeeper, and a monthly allowance for me to just have as my play money 🥰💅🏾💕

I want kids but, I love to see women break the stereotype that women can’t be happy without a husband and kids. I think a big issue in the past is that many young women would rush into marriage without knowing themselves or what they truly want out of life. These women show you can take your time, and enjoy life in your 20s and 30s. I no longer gonna pressure myself or worry that I’m running out of time cause I can still lead a fulfilling life without the white picket fence.

I wish there were more success stories in the arts. I was never good at science or math so I never leaned into STEM. My dreams have always been in writing or something creative like makeup. I thought about going back to school for STEM degree but I already have a bachelors in English and I’m just scared of wasting money on subjects I don’t even like nor am I good at (math and science). These women are very lucky, I wish I were smart like them.

Some STEM careers don’t require everyday math and science and people just google things to help them work nowadays so you don’t have to know everything and be a genius. A lot of tech jobs also just require certifications you can get without going to school. There’s some careers that don’t require college Aircraft mechanic/technician Air traffic controller Ultrasonographer or diagnostic medical sonographer Dental hygienist Respiratory or radiation therapist Nuclear technician Elevator installer or repair Computer network architect Etc, etc

Waking up at 12 is fucking amazing! One of the major reasons why I’m sure I shouldn’t have kids!! If I want to be around babies, I got plenty of baby cousins to go hang out with and spend time with my aunts while I’m at it. The best part is always coming back home to me.❤

What they’re really mad about is not either of those circumstances but the fact that they can’t control women with them. More women are setting boundaries and not allowing people to make them feel bad about it, whatever that looks like for them.

I'm 50 and I knew I was not going to have kids when I was five years old. Although I had about five years of pretty intense baby fever starting in my late 30s and lasting till about age 42, I managed to get pregnant naturally at 41 but thankfully miscarried. I would never bring a child intentionally into a world as fucked up as this. In my mind, that is child abuse.
