what is the gain setting for maono pd200x using USB

Bro... The 658 and am8 are the same-sounding microphones, but in different cases. and they sound much better than the 688. the 688 has a flat sound. 658, am8 give sound at the level of Shure sm57,58. I don't even want to say anything about the dm30. It's just a shameful-sounding microphone. I don't even know how you thought of putting this microphone in the same row as the fifine a8 plus

What mic do you use
@DaveSoltura13 сағат бұрын
For voice acting, the Neumann U87. For KZfaq, I have a few favorite go-to budget mics like the Fifine K688, AM8, Tank 3, and Maono PD400x!
@OppaLec23 сағат бұрын
Just by the mic name alone, they should sponsor with Mang Inasal 😂

Great review. I think you covered about every scenario.. LOL I have never seen these. I was looking at the Hollyland Lark M2 as well. I wonder if these Maono ones will work with my DJI Osmo Action 4
@DaveSolturaКүн бұрын
Thank you, Chad! I recorded a Hollyland Lark M2 video like this one, too. If the Action 4 is known to accept USB C input, it should work. Does it accept USB mics for audio?
@chadsfishingtales1470Күн бұрын
@@DaveSoltura Yes it does. I think I am going to go with the Lark M2. I like the sound better. They are more expensive but I like the size and sound of them.

That is the first affordable level mic with noise cancellation that is actually usable. It didn’t aggressively attack your voice at all until you attempted the distance test.
@DaveSoltura2 күн бұрын
Yeah! Among affordable mics, the noise cancelling wasn't half bad!

Maono and Fifine have been klilling it in the audio department! Clamshell makeup case... 🤣

They definitely have been! Yes, I’ll call it a clamshell makeup case. Still don’t know what it’s actually called.😀

@@DaveSoltura I think what blew my mind the most was the fact that it can power that full fledge Maono mic in XLR mode. Effectively making it a wireless mic!
@DaveSoltura2 күн бұрын
Definitely!! It wasn’t optimal, but it worked!

Hmm, how about make the accountability videos weekly instead of daily? That way, you might be able to focus more on the long-form videos while still keeping accountability.

Brilliant, Faith! I’ll give this a shot.

@DaveSoltura4 күн бұрын
For sound quality, no. The K688 already sounds great in usb, and the gain issue with the maonocaster may introduce noise. If you want to get on discord calls with fun effects, you might like it, but it depends on you.

Do you think the Fifone tank 3 would be a good pick for someone who sings and voice acts professionally at the price point? My budget is around 90 dollars, and I’m leaning towards the tank 3. Id love to hear about what you have to say about it.
@DaveSoltura4 күн бұрын
For indie and smaller pro jobs, it’ll get the job done! Main benefit is noise rejection. The challenge is, you’ll need to be closer to get the best sound. For singing, if you like the sound, sure.👍

amazing review! I think the K688 will make for a great mic gift for my friend. Only thing I can suggest for mic reviews that I don't see anyone do is background voices. Would be perfect test for streamers/people who wfh, who have s/o gaming in the same room or just kids speaking in the back etc. How much does the mic pick up with someone raging in the back lol this is one kind of test that I figured would be more common but no one seems to do. In any case, great review again, got yourself a sub!

Great video! Specially for new comers to have a clear idea on what to look for. BTW, not sure if this is intended but your voice sounds too boomy.. maybe because my headphones (Sennheiser HD560S) make it sound like that. I'm sure those using more brighter headphones wouldn't bother

@DaveSoltura5 күн бұрын
Depends what you consider budget! The Audio Technica ATH-M series covers multiple price points. If the budget can allow, you can look into the Beyerdynamic DT-770 Pro 80 Ohm. This can be the last pair of headphones you ever use, and they're super comfy over long periods.
