The crossing lost its last EB gate mechanism and hybrid bell the new gate mechanism is a wch and hybrid bell replaced with a safetran type 3 in 2022:(

I was hoping you would pair the mechanical bells. That’s what I used to love was hearing two different tones in the mechanical bells. The AT&SF here in the USA used to have some really good sounding pairs in the old days.

How so? There’s two of them up here and I don’t think there’s ever been a collision at either. There’s some far more dangerous ones in Mildura that don’t even have active protection

Although both large railway crossing signs are in the shot it sort of ruins it by being so far away. Next time try not to sacrifice the shot to get those signs in.

Same, except the south western flashing signal there had a white pole. Mallee Highway, Boinka also reminds me of the now removed disused level crossing at Mallee Highway, Murrayville (western side)

No it’s an animation. The clip is a screenshot of the level crossing off Google Maps with flashing lights superimposed. The bell sound effect is of the Brunt Road level crossing in Baxter.

It looks a lot different now since March 2015 they put 4 Boom gates and GS E Bell in still in the roundabout as I call it (rail roundabout) and has no lights over the cross bucks now under the cross bucks
