it also went +100% during the 1929 yield curve inversion & +33% during the 2006/2007 inversion, all gains are always erased when the recession begins (avg recession is -35%) & realistically it will probably be -50% to -70%.. cash has also beaten the stock market since I flipped bearish in early 2022 and guess what.. the unemployment rate is rising for 15 months already & we're finally seeing deflation (economic contraction)

yeah for sure, the only issue with being 'early' is that we never know if it takes 6 months, 12 months or 24 months for the period of 6-24 months into the future where the yield curve inversion warns of a economic downturn because there's an element of randomness to it, the unemployment rate has been rising since april 2023 now but it only gets really bad when it starts to spike.. the issue is that by the time it spikes it's usually too late for people to prepare.
