What caused the other wallet to make you spend more

I didnt have my budget sheets in the wallet so everytime I would grab money I didnt write down and track the spend so I thought I was doing good. Would just add from paycheck also with ought tracking down… when I would ran out from one envelope I would grab from another because again I had no trackers and nobody would know kinda thing.. I know it has a lot to do with me and not the wallet but I wanted to help me some more going back to what it was helping me be on track. Hope that answers it lol
