Do you have knowledge of the horizontal loads in Florida? I can’t seem to figure it out. One code says it only need 50 lbs and another says 200 is required. I would really like to do this same test with our panels to see if it meets or exceeds it so I can prove to engineers our product is viable to be used as railing.

Totally agree 💪 should always have 3/4” pickets and 2 1/2 posts, that’s what we install as well. The economy which you see mostly used for residential application’s is to thin and flimsy.

Love the shop and all the content, I’m very interested in your setup that you have to drill out the center of your wood posts. Are they 5”x5” or 6”x6” that’s awesome we have done that only a couple times and drilling by hand with extension.
