Nice but could use improvements. Box too high. No need for that 18"? Gear too crude. Use after market gear and pawl. Also use angle iron for grill and make a grease box so no flare ups. Why make that fancy cut out and weaken the grill grate? Should have used a channel welded to the side instead like all the ones I have seen and the one I'm making. You dont need that piece of angle in the front. That will be in the way when cooking!

How do you like your premier plasma table? I'm looking for a table here next year when I get a new building. Just curious what you think of it. Ive been looking at STV and Premier. Thanks keep up the good work I enjoy seeing your videos.

I really like the premier plasma table and the customer serve is great! The STV was about 5K more but you do not have to put the STV together which is nice. If I had to get another “beginners table” I would probably go with the STV.

@@skylarwagner1155 I appreciate the feedback. I’ve just been researching for a few months trying to decide. I really wanted a Starlab or a Arclight but it’s just not in the budget. The last one I’ve ran had command CNC on it and it was a decent table. Just looking to expand my business on custom signs and parts. Hopefully one day in 5-7 years I can quite my day job and do welding full time. Thankyou again for the feedback.

@@michaelsfabwork2985 use this website to do your cutting speed: xnet.hypertherm.com/Xnet/library/download/?file=HYP189352 I usually drop the cutting speed by %40 and you get less dross. I used 2 5x10 sheets of 1/8 diamond plate. 3 sheets of 14 gauge sheet metal. Lots of 2x2x1/4square tubing, do no recall how many I used I would guess 5. I do not recommend using square tubing that thick since it makes the bed weigh so much more than it should. 2 stick of 2x4x1/8 rectangle tubing. 1 stick of 2x4x14gauge rectangle tubing. 1 stick of 1 1/2x1 1/2 square tubing.

Did you use a double acting foot switch? Why or why not?
@skylarwagner1155
@skylarwagner1155 3 ай бұрын
The foot switch came with the pump. I believe it’s a double action switch, because when I push on my heel it turns on the pump and then when I push with my toes it releases the pressure. I wanted this so I could get the metal lined up instead of it automatically retracts.
