This is the type of throw that Haener excels at. 8 post/inside slant/timed routes. He's going to put it there on time and accurately. I actually see a lot of similarities between Haener and Mahomes.

Great work fellas! So I was just curious as to how a typical NFL practice works? How long does it last? How many pass attempts does someone like DC4 usually throw? Are there team meetings before or after? What kind of insight can you guys share with us?

Will answer this more thoroughly on the show tomorrow! The short one is 1.5 hours for what we got now, reps are split and it's usually 10-12 in each session.

Another great show guys ! I’m glad you both enjoy our So Cal Weather ! It’s a damn shame that we are locked out from Training Camp ! It’s Unforgivable and Unfortunate ! I’ll appreciate the daily updates and coverage ! Looks like Miller may be the Running Back version of Trequan Smith another bad 3rd round pick ! It’s another High Draft pick with Injury issues that isn’t panning out with Payton Turner being another one ! We need both to stay healthy and be productive this Season or both could be gone in the near future ! Bad Scouting / Drafting / Personnel Decisions / Cap Issues have plagued our Saints ! Hopefully it changes this Season ! Please keep us posted on the Wide Receiver Competition ! Shaheed and Olave are the Starters and I’m pulling for AT Perry and Bub Means to develop into Playmakers ! Both have the Size and Speed to complement this offense ! I liked Wilson’s production in Dallas but he got caught up in a deep Miami Receiver Room ! I also like Mason Tipton’s Speed and I think he can help us in the Return Game with it ! With this current Staff and Organization I’m expecting the worst but hoping for the best ! Imo discipline comes in getting sent off the field and not getting paid for the day at this stage ,maybe an exception for rookies, but there's no time for up downs or making every one stop practice because of lack of focus to do stuff like conditioning etc unless it's a real concern like they're just Not in shape which is totally unprofessional at this point in they're career...,scrimmage ,drills ,play installation, player position and depth chart should be primary by now especially for the defense which is the strength of the team as of now, I know it's training camp and all but ...

🤦♂️what is wrong with Saints media refusing to understand the importance of the FB position to the Kubiak/Shanahan offense? Yes, there will be a permanent FB on the 53 man roster who will get 350-450 snaps throughout the season. They’re not going to elevate one from the practice squad every week. Might they do some trickery with Taysom Hill at FB? Sure. Will that change having a FullTime FullBack? No! I dare you, I double dare you, ask Kubiak if he “really needs a FB on the Roster & suggest that they just rotate guys through or elevate one from the practice squad every week?” I want to see Kubiak’s response to you disrespecting the FB like that. Once again, I dare you!

What I (John) was saying is that there won't be one that makes the final roster. That's not uncommon. That doesn't meant they won't be using one (and that's not what anyone said at all), but for numbers and such, they probably won't have one that makes it and then will add later. They do that more than you think.

@@SecondAndSaints Yes, the FB is incredibly important to the Kubiak/Shanahan offense & primarily for their blocking assignments & how it works with their run scheme. They literally get 350-650 snaps a season, with between 20-40 touches, so most of the time they’re blocking, in excess of 20-40 snaps a game. Kubiak will determine if either guy(Prentice or Horvath) is up to snuff & if they’re not, they will bring someone else in, mid-training camp in to compete. They have to have someone they trust in that position. If they’ve found their guy, they won’t risk him on the practice squad, because if SF, Miami, Houston, etc. FB gets injured, there’s a chance he could get stolen, there’s not many good REAL FB’s to go around. They could do FB by committee to get them through a single game, but that’s it. This is the entire Saints media, they treat the FB position like it’s less valuable & less important than the long snapper position & that’s just not the case in the Kubiak/Shanahan scheme. It’s not a coincidence the AFC & NFC All Pro FB’s from last season were from the Niners & the Dolphins.

@@TheStacanova Fullback absolutely matters, and I can't speak for everyone else, but if you see the Saints track history at the position, they've had some gems that are extremely underappreciated. I'm Tom Rathman/Moose Johnston years old. Plenty of greats have played the spot, and they do a ton of dirty work that gets unnoticed.

Great Show as always ! It’s a shame we can’t see Training Camp here in So Cal ! We have a lot of disappointed Saints Fans over this decision ! This probably will never happen again and unfortunately we won’t be able to see it ! As a former High School Coach I was looking forward to seeing how the new Offensive Staff does things ! I saw the Charger / Saints joint practices and when they had practices in Oxnard in between West Coast games a few seasons ago with Sean Payton and Staff ! Practices were open to us then why not now ? I’m looking forward to meeting you guys in Fullerton . We also have a few Saints Restaurants / Sports Bars here in San Diego ! We were on a local News Station here for our Super Bowl Victory ! Do you know what time will your Event be August 8 ?

I don’t think AK has dropped off. Bad playcalling and an O Line that can’t give you space to run will definitely affect how you play. If he’s going to be utilized the way they say he will, he definitely needs to be paid.
