Just for those of you who are under the age of 38 and didn't go/have science class. I'm gonna teach ya something. What color is clean drinking water???? 👏👏 That's the color your ice should be, too. Did you know, or have you been taught, DO NOT eat the yellow snow?? Do you know why they say DON'T do that??? Anyone Bueller, Bueller....(If you don't get that part, it's ok. Ask your mom/dad/or grandparents. They'll explain.) It's because someone/thing (most likely a dog) peed there. So now we know the education system failed you and so have your parents. You had to learn from a stranger. Who's responsibility is NOT to raise or teach you 3rd grade science. Especially since I can't claim you on my taxes. SMH... but yall have all the answers! 🤣

WARNING: NAY-SAYER REVIEW... Please excuse my cynicism, but I suspect that some of these glowing reviews were compensated. Just a few of the problems (by no means a comprehensive list): The far-too-brief instruction manual doesn't even include the two water filter locations, nor how to clean/remove them (I had to search for a video). Once located, only a human with dainty hands can remove the tiny filters with a pinky, as shown. Yes, the cubes consistently stick together, even when the size is reduced to minus 4. I'm using filtered water, yet my unit plugs up and floods the forward compartment after only 4 hours of use. My advice: It's more trouble than what it's worth. DON'T BUY THIS UNIT. (Let's see if this review lasts.)

Hi! Does your ice maker recycle the water to remake ice after it has melted in the ice tray? I bought the same model. Once the ice tray is full and not regularly used, it will melt then collect a large pool at the bottom and stops it from making ice. I have to manually scoop the water out: most of the time when I need it, it’s just a pool of water. Is yours the same?

It's a 700 watt microwave so of course it won't heat up well at 1 minute per instructions. Why? Because cooking times on product packages are based on 1000 watt microwaves not 700 watt microwaves. It takes longer to heat up. Just letting you know.

I bought as an open box return in store. After cleaning it it started making ice. I timed and weighed the cubes. My findings at the default settings is that this machine makes 5 ounces of ice every 15 minutes. In a day that works out to 480 ounces a day. That would mean in 24 hours it makes 30 pounds of ice. The reservoir holds about 2 quarts or 64 ounces of water. So to get that 30 pounds you need to put in 7.5 quarts of water in the machine. Where I live ice is $2 for 10 pounds. So I’d be saving $6 a day making myself.

You and I are smart, those dumb rechargeable products are a joke. Some take longer than 4 hours to charge. And less than 2 hrs. And gas products suck, smell, loud, heavy and fluid leaking. Have to mix bad gas with oil. No way I am putting 93 Octane these things.

Frozen things take longer than 1 minute. Most things take longer than a minute in a microwave, unless you are reheating something or it’s a liquid or something like butter. Also yes your cover may be microwave safe, but you need vents in it. All that steam is going to be trapped and burn you and make you food mushy. They make covers for the things that go in microwaves.

I've been shopping for a new compact microwave and this Galanz unit caught my eye, but one thing I've noticed from all the unboxing/review videos I've watched so far is that nobody bothers to explain what the hell the "Weight Adjust / Eco" button actually does and nobody seems to notice how excessively obnoxious it us using that rotary dial and hearing a BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP for every increment. It wouldn't be so bad if you could at least adjust the volume but being forced to listen to all that excessive beeping would get incredibly annoying.
