Hi George, I saw these late last year in Norwich - my mates daughter works at the venue they played at and met them backstage befoehand and said ' they were some very nice old people'. My mate and I just cracked up - they were very good though. Is punk dead? Almost but still cool 😎

The Ohio Punk 45 is good but the best on is the LA based Punk 45. I want to get the Ramones RSD demos album. In the 70’s nobody was calling music Power Pop. If you like that Vibrators album, which isn’t better than Never Mind The Bollocks, get the Vibrators demos album.

Too Much Pressure is their first album you are correct, both the Selecter and Specials were from Coventry and had a similar sound so there is that, the whole 2 Tone movement only lasted 18 months or so, then the bands started changing their sound by the 2nd and third albums, but there are a whole host of bands that came afterwards in the 80’s that equally sound fantastic, check out Pladtic Gangsters by the 4 skins : kzfaq.info/get/bejne/qc14h9uquJPbcZs.htmlsi=vJORT_sYfNXbNw76 And check Ska Wars by Arthur Kay and the Originals, outstanding music you’ll love it Cheers

Hey George I’m kinda going back thru and catching vids ai missed of yours! First of all I love Hyper Vypr too but his channel is not better than yours You guys are both great and I like both channels but there’s plenty of meat on the bone for all of us LoL! I loved that electronic album In Sound from Way Out I like albums like that that were released when “Stereo” was still being explored There’s always a lot of speaker jumping from right to left and they sound really cool with headphones! TUCO turned me onto that kind of stuff I miss TUCO! Hope he comes back soon! Johnny Burnett has some really cool stuff! And you can usually get his records for cheap too! And I see em all the time! Another great video! Btw I’m always keeping my eyes open for something you might like while I’m digging for records so there will be some VCLT in your future at some point! Peace ✨✌️👽✨

Hey George! I do still listen to CDs I don’t show many on the videos but I still rock a good CD! In fact I listen to all formats of music If I had an 8-track player I’d be listening to them as well! Yeah no shame in other formats that aren’t vinyl. Man I’ve been a fan of Lieutenant Vyper Turd 1 since he first started even before his hiatus He’s a good dude and funny AF! Plus he’s a fellow Mindshield Advocate! LoL! I really dig that Sorrows LP too! I used to be into ska way back in the 90’s Stuff like Orange County Supertones, The Specials, but never listened the Selector. May have to check it out. I have a Mods LP on my watch list on eBay that I’m so close to picking up! They sound great! Dude that Raxola album is killer! It’s actually a go to album from my punk stuff! Thalidomide Child is a weird tune but I love it! And yes the Belgian’s def have a unique signature sound. I too was turned into it by Ryan Kidd and I was glad to see Joaquim show it in his Tag vid! There is no better feeling than finding a record in the wild that you’ve been after for a long time! And I can see why you dig that Vibrators LP! It’s one of 2 Vibrators album that I own! It’s fantastic! Great haul George! Kinda glad the live stream was cancelled so we could see ya share these treasures! Keep em coming! Peace ✨✌️👽✨

Unpopular opinion but Give ‘em enough rope > debut. In my opinion. Love that record. Mine is a Canadian reissue from the 70s with a different font for The Clash -text. Naughty Kids LP rules too. we discussed that record with Ryan like over a year ago or so on the stream. Primitive Hearts sounds lovely, me like!

Big wreckless Eric fanboy here :) I’m glad Clash it’s growing on you, I used to love them and then I read a biography called passion is a fashion and made me dislike them and for many years I just wouldn’t listen to any Clash, of course that changed with time, combat rock it’s a record that I don’t like till this day, however against many’s opinion I do like Sandinista Cheers

I watched the Joe strummer documentary and there’s no doubt he was a good guy but he wasn’t perfect and definitely had some unappealing sides of his personality. Yes! Glad I got caught up on your vids yesterday and now starting with a new vid today! How freaking cool is that? I don’t know that I’ve ever owned that Clash record but after your review I’m gonna give it a shot. I have never ever seen Wreckless Eric records in the wild in all my years of collecting records! That’s the one I’ve always wanted too! I am now going to strengthen my resolve to find some of his stuff. I love that Naughty Kids LP! Think I picked up a couple years back in Ryan Kidd’s recommendation. Not sure why our old pal Hypr Vypr 1 doesn’t have more subs as he’s funny AF and shows great content! Hope he sticks around cuz if he builds it , they will come Hahaha! I grew up in an era where we called those smaller records 45’s so when I started watching VC vids about 7 yrs ago I was confused as to when they started calling them 7’ rather than 45’s? I kinda bounce back & forth calling them both LoL! Anyway some killer 45’s! Hahahahaa! 😂 Peace ✨✌️👽✨

Good stuff .....Pearlman was brought in by the record company to " Americanize " the bands sound as they believed it was too rough n ready for U.S. audiences. Some fans don't seem to rate Give em enough rope too highly....but i love it.. Cut The Crap is about the only Clash album i would steer clear of. London Calling, for me, is the jewel in the crown .....amazing. Now to find some Wreckless Eric....ive never heard any of his stuff. Thanks 👍

Hey George! Man I’m planning on shooting a video for this contest not so much to win but just to support Joaquim’s channel I love both yours and his Probably in my top 10 VC channels! Plus it sounds fun! Man never ever be ashamed or worry about what people say about your listening tastes! You are allowed to enjoy music outside of your preferred genre! Especially when it comes to a legend like Elton John with Yellow Brick Road! Man that’s why I don’t give 2 fuxx about showing pop albums or even bubblegum rock as it’s outside of my usual psych & garage stuff! I don’t know why people box themselves into a single type of music when there’s so much great music to absorb out there! Wow That was a rant Sorry LoL! I love horror & Sci-Fi films and I really like cheesy B-Movie stuff! Now you’ve got me excited about doing this vid! Also I know I can show comics which you know I’m into! Killer shares here George! I saw the Cramps for the A Date with Elvis tour, Candy Del Mar was also in the band at that time, and it was a fantastic show. They did Kissmiazz and quite a few others from ADWE. I have yet to hear Samhain, but I do like the Misfits, so maybe I should give it a listen. Been looking for that Undertones album for years, I could get the overpriced reissue, but screw that, I want an original, so nice score on that. Les Lullies looks cool, I'll have to check that out. You may already know about them, but there's another French punk band called the Stinky Toys, while I haven't actually heard them, their name alone makes me want to investigate them further. Great sounds with the Heats, you're right, they do sound similar to the Beat. Take care George.
