Ok so 3 things: 1. Love the random inclusion of the Scott the Woz bit at the end. It perfectly captures how this all feels. 2. At 2:06 Ken proves that you don't actually need to shoot yourself in the head to summon your Persona, so yeah, take that as you will. 3. Where is the best place to watch these movies online? I don't care about english dubs but don't mind if they are the only one's available

wait... in minecraft, evokers are mini bosses who drop totems of undying. in persona, evokers are "guns", but they don't kill the person who is shot. Coincidence? I THINK NOT! well, maybe i should ask jeb.

What was interesting to see in this was an Evoker actually failing/jamming. That has never happened before, nor being mentioned. So seeing Junpeis evoker just straight up jam in the fight against the Priestess, god i wish we'd see something like that explored more

The Evoker didn't jam, Junpei ran out of energy. The Evokers aren't real guns, so there isn't anything inside. Summoning a Persona is tiring so when Junpei was overdoing it, he hit his limit.

It’s essentially the SP mechanic in the game. Once they run out of SP they can’t summon their personas.

I like how they at least tried to give each member a somewhat original way to shoot themselves. Like Makoto, Junpei, Fuuka and Jin, the classic from the side. Yukari, from the front. Akihiko, from the front but he's doing the effort of holding it upside down for some reason. Mitsuru, from the side with an angle. Ken isn't even shooting at the right place but it works anyway. Chidori from under the jugular.

Yukari uses her thumbs which was always bizarre. Akihiko aims it like its an actual gun and typically aims it right above his eye like a lobotomy. Though the anime weirdly enough has him actually make contact with his forehead.

I interpreted Ken's method of using the evoker as a way to show his innocence as the youngest of the group. Like, both the brain and the heart are Important parts of our body, but a child is more likely to believe that destroying the heart (something that usually represents one's soul) is the way to go, as opposed to the more grown ups who know that the brain is the effective target.
