Couple of ideas for the drills app: 1. Have a way to stop the videos from the timer. The timer starts videos but then you have to walk all the way to your phone to stop recording. 2. Have a way to review videos in slow motion like Posio shows in this video without having to download the video to your iPhones photo album. 3. Have a way to name and save “quick stages” so that you can see progress over time in the activity feed. It’s tedious to go through stage builder for simple drills like the bill drill.

With a Glock 19 how do I continually dry fire without having to rack the gun?

You don't

A good way I've found to have guys leave their comfort zone is a competition. Both shooters have A zone steel 7-10 yards away. When the timer goes off, both shooters draw from the holster and shoot at steel. This will automatically make shooters wanna push them selfs past comfort zone and also teaches them faster fallow up shots if the target is missed.

Yes, it is metal and a similar solution has already been offered for GO Timer, now you can order a GO Pocket clip.

I would love if I could be able to view stage history. It is cool to see progress in a calendar mode. But being able to view my history of a particular stage can help me see the progress of that stage over time. Especially over time if it happens to be a drill I run as a test.

What's the DB volume on the new timer? Also are you offering trade-ins for version 1 timers?
@shootersglobal9 күн бұрын
Thank you for your question. The volume of the new SG Timer 2 is 110 dB. It is one of the loudest on the market. Unfortunately, there is no trade-in option.

Unfortunately, it's not possible to customize every set in one practice at the moment. However, we are planning a major update for the app, and this feature may be included in the future. We will forward this recommendation to the team. Thank you a lot for your ideas.

@shootersglobal hey guys can we sg2 owners get some clarification on the differences between the sensitivity and echo settings. I’ve seen your suppressed video I’m primarily shooting 22lr , on paper mostly, but sometimes combination paper/steel at 7-25 yards Same for 9mm I’ve noticed how all the preset gun lists are set to the same echo and senstitivy settings from the factory. Is there any chance there’s a detailed manual coming out for this military grade waterproof state of the art timer that doesn’t come with a proper manual ?! Later
@shootersglobal8 күн бұрын
Hi! Thank you for question. Echo Filter - dead zone interval. It is a time frame after the shot, during which the timer will not be registering any new sounds. This eliminates false recognition when shooting steel or in an indoor range with echo. For instance, you are shooting steel. Echo filter is set up to 0.10 sec. First shot occurs at 5.00 seconds. The bullet hits the steel target at 5.05 sec. Then the second shot occurs at 5.15 seconds. Timer will ignore the sound of the bullet hitting the target, since the interval between these sounds (shot and bullet hit) is only 0.05 sec, which is less than 0.10 echo filter. But it will register the shot at 5.15 and will start counting echo filter interval again. This setting can also be used to program the timer in an unusual way. For example, by setting it to 0.01 sec, you can calculate the approximate rate of fire of an automatic weapon. Timer will capture every individual shot the split between them. Rounds Per Minute (RPM) = 60 / Split Time in seconds The manual for this "military grade waterproof state of the art timer" is still under development (for which we apologize, of course), as we focus on the quality of the product first, and then on the paperwork. However, you can read a draft of the manual here at this link - docs.google.com/document/d/1FYyYC1yayydfyKbhipok3hooIhs56hCTymsw4XsfBtM/edit#heading=h.9zs0s2lgikdr If you have any additional questions, please contact us, we will be happy to answer.

Nice. I practice IPSC as an amateur in Poland, but I lack discipline :) one will reach a certain wall and there is no motivation to train because there is no improvement. And sometimes it's even worse than it was. Congratulations on your continuous training and for not giving up. I really admire such people.

I would like to set up a complete course of fire in the app. I need to control times and round counts and it would be nice to add yard lines as a reminder. For example 2rds 4sec 3yrd pause it- move, then 2rds 4sec 7yrd line. Then have it add all the shooting time together from each stage ( the 1st shot and last shot) Maybe 15-20 editable lines like that would suffice. Then be able to save and name the course and have the option to save several courses.

How do you change the sensitivity for dry fire?
@shootersglobal15 күн бұрын
Connect the timer to the app. Tap the green timer icon in the upper left corner of the screen. A menu will appear where you can go to Dry fire presets, where you can determine the sensitivity for each type of weapon. In Smart Dry Fire, we recommend keeping the sensitivity setting at 100 and the waiting time at 2.0. You can reduce “Waiting time” to the minimum value if you need to catch the “first” sound (trigger or shot). Here some useful tutorials on our KZfaq channel that could be useful for you: Video instructions can be found on our KZfaq channel: How to program a shot timer - kzfaq.info/get/bejne/a6pzYLucutLUn5c.html How to dry fire - kzfaq.info/get/bejne/r-CUfrSrmq65ln0.html Live shooting - kzfaq.info/get/bejne/q9xmhLmrr7zXlYE.html

I am already using SG Timer GO during classes and for dry fire. I use mostly mini PS - as I am able to easily make a match and share videos with training participants :). This feature is golden. Ability to have same or better buzzer with front screen and magnet is extra tempting for classes efficiency and convenience :)! Also the sensor is very good indoors - it doesn’t struggle with echo as some other timers ;)
