My turbo manifold bolt has sheared, now think my only option is to remove 3 bolts from down pipe and remove the head with turbo attached, at this rate I’ll probably just buy a new exhaust manifold and buy a used k04 turbo

Damn that sucks! You can separate the turbo from the exhaust manifold so you don’t have to remove the turbo and undo the oil lines. There are three bolts at the top.

Great video dude, I’ve got too pull my head off my TT bam engine, 263k miles apparently full service just but never had the head gasket replaced, now I have to do the work myself as it’s cheaper than taking too a garage, I’m confident Doing it especially now I’ve seen how you do the timing and belt, that was the only thing I wasn’t sure how to do, keep up the good work 👍

1.8t stock gap is normally .032 but I’ve seen folks with tuned engines gap at about .028. I would still suggest you do some research on where your car is and what’s been working. Dope that you have an AMU Tt!

Cheap or expensive it will happen. It's just corrosion built up inside the rim. All he needs to do is a clean and seal and ship it. Happens a lot in the salt belt region. But you seem to be the tire expert 😅

Yup! Just need a clean and reseal. These tires are old though, as the truck was sitting for a while before I purchased the truck. Eventually they will need to be replaced.
