I landed on a similar planet. Walked for a bit and found a crashed ship. Claimed the ship and fixed enough for it to barely fly. Not sure if it can fly out to reach the nearest space station. My problem: I want to go back to my original ship but now I can’t find it. I flew around a bit using the wrecked ship but I couldn’t find it. My oxygen levels are critical and the planet seems to have none. I tried to summon my original ship but it doesn’t have thrusters fuel or something. If I could see the ship on the map I could fly there. But now I only the see the new wrecked ship on the map. I regret having claimed the new ship. My previous ship is full of great resources in the cargo. I’m almost dying and the planet is burning. Please help!

Just did this today. The trick is to aim at the shooters ONLY. DON’T aim at the cars until later. Hope this helps (I died 8 times shits hard)

Lmao had to look it up if someone else had the same problem after watching Asmongold's first playthrough on very hard mode. Didn't think it was possible to die during the literal tutorial mission, but I guess they somehow made it possible on this new update for very hard mode.

watched a video from a speerunner, he said pretty much all damage in this chase is kinda scripted (version 1.6), he also said he's not even sure if you have to shoot at all! and here i am fucking dying and dying and dying in the exact same spot all the time!... so i came to the conclusion that it has to have something to do with some setting fucking up the difficulty or script!?!... but it seems like i am wrong and the game just does stuff as it pleases for that particular mission! ok, literally 6-8min after writing this, i did it... i aimed down sight, took my time with the shots and were pretty much only shooting the gunner, and out of nowhere: - enemy cars exploded a little earlier - i had much more HP in certain areas than i had countless times before its kinda like: if you unleash rapid-fire on them, the gun just does less damage... the only freaking way i can think of, for why it is, how it is! i dont get it....

later in the game where Johnny was trying to get away from a chase, same insane difficulty there as well. I feel they just didn't tune this properly. Most other areas the very hard difficulty isn't that crazy, only the vehicle chasing scenes are ridiculously impossible.

They must have made it much harder before the updates because I had no issues before and now all of a sudden I can't even get passed it. and even when there's no badguys around my V takes random damage out of nowhere.

Yeah, I love this game, and will try to figure it out. But dying like this, this early in the game, makes it feel like DarkPunkSouls77, but I don't feel like I am getting better, yet. Maybe I have to hit with every shot, maybe there is a health consumable that is usable that we can pick up in the town just outside the garage after meeting the Sherrif? I will give it all I got, but it was hard to continue.

In the gas station you can get some normal food... and there is some water laying around.. but I couldn't find any thing that looked like it would help that much. I noticed that these very hard runs, are ending just a little sooner than the hard runs i was trying. I've also noticed that the vehicles seem to get destroyed in nearly the same spots each time. Like they won't actually blow up early. I've also not been able to get any of the gunmen to die without blowing up the vehicles. I have a feeling there was a damage bump, and someone forgot about this mission.

I’m currently stuck on a planet, I went through a portal and it shut behind me and won’t re open, I have no ship, it won’t let me call one and I can’t build anything, can’t even make the machine to process materials even though I have resources on me 🤷🏼♂️

I found this because I'm new to the game, and thought I was stuck on a planet (while the story was telling me to investigate the Space Station. I realized (after A LOT) of time passed by...that I had to click on an empty space in my inventory and then, CREATE the necessary items...to make the launch fuel. But dang!!! You are a TRUE Traveler my friend! Sure was fun watching you work through that! Thanks to your guidance, I'll be sure to have some extra fuel (or materials to make it) in excess ALWAYS!!

This just recently happened to me and I found it was far easier to dig underground while searching for the materials I need. I could scan underground and then dig to the resource and just come up up alongside it... Took me three sols but I did it!
