I like house malinax, and have done a few in epic scale, i might do my next knight in 28mm scale as one to. But in my opinion the tan you used is a bit to yellow, but great stuff, looks good

cult of paint has a video that does the tan a lot more weathered looking if your trying to find something like that

No glue! That's a pretty well engineered kit to come together like that. Hard to beat really. Be good to see it painted.

Next level indeed. As someone who always paints kits, I really appreciate the colour separation to reduce masking and allow batch spraying of parts.

all you need to thin acrylic paint is water, people are so damned stuck on thinners when simple every day water will do the trick, guess what you can clean your airbrush with, 70% isopropyl is 100% fine, been airbrushing since the mid 80's and never used anything else. Tamiya has been and always will be my go to paint and yup water thins it just fine also.

Depends on the paint and what you’re painting, surely?

I recognized all these techniques from my gunpla days. Still it is very nice to see it applied to tanks cause I am painting a WE rhino atm hehe

Are the two filters enough for the acrylic paint particles to not get through the system? I'm thinking about getting this booth and ditch the hose, since the room i'm in don't have any windows.

Hello and thank you very much for posting your video(s). I find them very helpful. I am hoping you could help me with a couple of questions. I have a smaller antique safe that was my grandfathers. The paint is badly worn off. I will be sanding the entire safe and I plan on repainting it and adding a bit of art. I have NEVER used an airbrush! I would appreciate any suggestions for the following: 1) what BLACK colored paint product to spray the entire safe with once it is sanded to bare steel? 2) what paint product to use in my air sprayer? 3) what paint product to spray over the entire safe, in order to give it a clear coat as protection for the black paint and the artwork? Thank you very much in advance, it is appreciated!

@PrzybyszzMatplanety2 ай бұрын
Don't you think they're very desaturated? At least browns and reds. I have mega set and I've noticed that Pure Red and Fur Brown are actually different shades of pink rather than red and brown. I still like them a lot and think they're objectively the best option for new hobbyists due to their superior coverage, but I think they improved coverage due to mainly adding white pigment to each paint in the Fanatic range.
@ArynCrinn2 ай бұрын
They certainly made a trade off... Can be fixed with glazes though. If you had to stick with Army Painter, thinned Speedpaints (probably with the Fanatic Stabiliser medium, rather than Speedpaint medium) would do the trick.

Aimed right where I'm at - absolute novice - thank you.... how long ought I to be leaving between colours for the previous one to dry?
@OrcPainterNerd2 ай бұрын
Glad this has helped and regarding drying generally with acrylics as long as there dry to the touch you can paint over them. But with heavy washer please make sure the previous layer of paint is thoroughly dry. I use a hair dryer to speed up drying process. lol. Please make sure the heat is on low to medium don’t want to melt your minis lol.

1:47 CMIIW but as far as I know, Gohand nippers are for cleaning the nub of parts rather than cutting parts from sprue/runner, also because of their sharpness most user don't use it to cut thick gate of parts to avoid dulling the blade
@OrcPainterNerd2 ай бұрын
Yes this is true. Most people make an initial cut with standard nippers then a final ultra close cut of the nub. The gates on the parts I cut was tiny so did not feel the need for extra step.
