This song I use to hear TVS used to sing his son did not sing sofar but Abhishek did the compensation of singing it in his unique style with hindustani bharavi style which we call Sindhu Bhairavi

There's no necessity to sing the keerthana in such a hurried manner.

Good renditions of Jalandhara in enchanting Raga Vallaji is something I keep scouting for with the avidity of a stamp - collector of earlier times. And what an exhilarating rendition this one by Vidwan Abhishek Raghuram turned out to be ! My earlier exposure to his music was long ago when he was at a relatively nascent stage of his music career. I must have misjudged the mind-boggling potential of this supremely gifted vocalist as I now realise with regret. He clearly stands out for sheer originality in bani. The alapana was nothing short of superlative what with his admirably felicitous voice and creative conceptions enabling him to seamlessly traverse between lower and higher octaves with breathtaking ease and awesome impact. Did bring to mind , as one Rasika has remarked in his comments, the Salamat-Nazakat Ali Khan Brothers whose no-holds-barred explorations of ragas without violating the musical tenets made them so famous. Swaraprasthas were also off the top drawer. Kudos to the accompanists as well for excellent support in making it a memorable performance ! Thanks to technology, I shall be able to catch up on the erstwhile offerings of this great artist in a concerted manner in the YT and other channels.

Humble request. Can u plz consider to conduct a online worshop... Mathematical patterns and the t ki ta language familiarization appears tobe the core and complex... then applying swaras for any raga seems tobe the next step which isn't so complex... plz consider this request

Amazing 3-2-111 component concept.....Felt explanation of ....1 thalli, 2 thalli , 3 thalli etc being from beginning of each component.....should have been told earlier itself.... then we would have understood more clearly what was happening ...when you were actually narrating each case (4= 1+3, 4= 2+2 etc) with sollu.....I was very confused and lost till i came to this part in the video.... then went back in video and replayed it....then it all made so much sense .....just went speechless after that...... wonderful

Sir.. i am uneducated in music, leave alone rhythm and patterns. Your video made me understand the level of complexity and accuracy that needs to be achieved during singing. 99% of people like me do not have the education to appreciate this art form. Sadly this leads to a situation where kutcheris are attended almost exclusively by those who are already well trained in music. Videos like this really help laymen like me to have atleast a very general idea of what the vidhwan is trying to do on stage. Without this understanding we are just confused and ultimately feel out of place in the audience. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge. 🙏
