@@janebarry-fraundorf4623 It has grown long-ish box office legs through word of mouth but will need exceptional VOD sales to come close to breaking even. I enjoyed it so much that I've seen it twice at the cinema, and I will pay for the extended version.

Think because it didn’t have much marketing and advertising. Plus it was an original idea, so I think people didn’t quite understand the premise. I think it will age well though. I enjoyed it a lot. It was definitely different!

@@bradleye660 I actually saw a lot of marketing for The Fall Guy but maybe I was being fed more by the algorithm/s on social media because I was actively watching whatever came my way, and I probably searched on the movie title to rewatch something!? I have since noticed that I had seen very little marketing for other movies that were released here in Australia in the weeks following the release of the Fall Guy. Had I not been searching the cinema website, to see how Furiosa was performing at the box office (mainly because my friend's daughter is in it), I wouldn't have known anything about a few recent releases.
