Questa parte di questa Cantata di Bach segna la mia Vittoria sulla mia Depressione dopo 6 anni di terribile sofferenza nonostante gli Psicofarmaci. Bach mi ha aiutato a sconfiggere la mia Depressione. Gli Psicofarmaci non ci sono riusciti Bach con la sua Musica Divina Si! Die erste Interpretation, die ich von dieser Arie gehört habe, war die von Thomas Quasthoff mit Rainer Kußmaul als Dirigent. Damals dachte ich schon, die Interpretation sei schön. Und so sehr ich Thomas Quasthoff auch verehre und bewundere - nein! An diese Interpretation kommt er nicht annähernd heran. Mir zieht sich alles zusammen 😭

How can a "world" be stupid? Nietzsche shows, again, in Human all too Human, that there is no free will...however he continues! However if there is no free will we cannot easily say that the world, or humans are "stupid"....what we are fighting against is that humans are too intelligent. We are simply too clever. Animals don't start wars and so on.... So the more we make and even create the more problems we bring....it is something like Newtons law that every action has an equal and opposite reaction....

After or around 1818... not sure the date Peel introduced a Police force in England which meant that such massacres as the Peterloo tragedy in Manchester happened less....slowly things got better....But all is not well as we or I speak...

Großartige Interpretation. Ohne Grenzen in Zeit,Ort und Nationalität so eine großartige Musik hören zu können ist ein wahres Privileg,das noch keine Generation vor unserer geniessen konnte! Wir alle sollten das zu schätzen wissen.

Lovely. But, in the subtitles, it is incorrect to translate "Jesulein" as "little Jesus." The diminutive in German, in reference to a person, simply denotes affection and should not be translated literally. Just "sweet Jesus" or "dear Jesus" would be a better translation.
