the PMZ50 or the icebear maddog are 2 of my favorite GY6 scooters around. doing my own icebear maddog engine conversion from a 50-150cc and its running great! it was originally a 125cc gy6 engine out of a sym fiddle 2 125 but i put a whole new top end on because 150 is the way to go!

The bike turned out sweet. 7 gram sliders seems about right for a 50mm piston.

Plz help... scooter sat for awhile. Cleaned carb it looks spotless...it idles fine...give it any throttle at all it dies right away...fuel bowl is full... if i detach vacuum line idle goes way up... im lost

Sounds like a clogged mainiet or your needle in the carburetor is stuck.

I looked it up it the 6 wire to 4 wire ratio like the male peice being 6 and female being 4 either way it should work it looks the exact same

Did you end up get running. I have the same scooter and it will struggle to start like yours but dies if I give it throttle. Checked and replaced any cracked lines but didn’t make a difference.

Sure did and sold it on marketplace 2 Days later. Sounds like a clogged main jet open up the carburetor and give a good cleaning. Thank you for commenting and watching ‼️

That's a cool pickup 🛵🔥🔥. I bought a beat Tao racer & spent a week putting it back together for a quick flip. Paid $200 for the scoot & $150 in parts/ tires. Flipped for 550 decent profit. Thanks for the vid & awesome content 💯👍.🫡

There's a lot of dead space under those panels. I bet you could stuff a Suzuki Burgman 650 in that frame. Great video keep them coming.

The carb definitely could use a good cleaning . Now that I think about it that cdi from the engine starting stand could have an issue as well. Last engine on the stand had a stutter on acceleration as well. 🤔 Hey thank you for commenting and watching ‼️

Can the air gas mixture cause it to not start after I rode to store it was fine came back out wouldn’t start I was adjusting the mix and I think that’s what it is

Did you extend the bottom engine mount? I just sold this same scooter and was thinking dang if I could have made mine look like yours I wouldn't have sold it. I hated all of the plastics that were on it.
