Hey is the iphone 12's wide lens as good as the 12pro max's? I wanna make funny batman sketches, so maybe I'll shoot in good lighting and then make it feel like it's dark in post.

It’s good to see Apple putting this out finally. They should have a way to control the iPhone camera remotely from an iPad without using Final Cut Pro, similar to what filmic used to do.

I’m surprised it took them this long. We should see features coming pretty quickly. I love the competition in this space.

'Interactive story telling' was invented a long time ago, it's called 'Video Games'
@RyanCampFilmsАй бұрын
Thanks, Oren. Glad you’re here to enlighten us all. I don’t believe I said that interactive storytelling was going to be invented in 2024, merely that more creators will start to embrace it.

I still use this camera religiously in 2024. The built in ND is literally the most important thing in the world for me and the image quality is still insane. I use it to shoot documentaries, music videos, and concerts and all my clients are obsessed with it. It's better than all the new Blackmagic cams purely because of the built ND imo
@RyanCampFilmsАй бұрын
I love it! The built in ND was the main reason I chose to try this camera and it didn’t disappoint! Cheers!
@MobileFilmmakingАй бұрын
I’m sooooo jealous. I want a black magic sooooooo badly. It’s just not in my budget right now. But I’ve always loved the color science . And like you said, since I use the app …. I should have a jump when I get the actual camera
@RyanCampFilmsАй бұрын
I really enjoyed using it. I love the way the footage looks, and that UI is sublime. Hopefully I can pick one up for myself soon.

I adored this one - oh wow! His confused and traumatized expression at the start. The unsettling score and sound design. That “layered faces” effect for when he went insane. Saying he’d been there “forever” (absolutely haunting thought). The silent jumpscare of the withered guy standing in the background. Just marvelous! But I would’ve cut out the loud jumpscare and just have the character in the woods turn back to the camera, and then wake up

Thanks for the feedback. I love stories that involve dreams, nightmares, and dream logic, so that's going to be a part of my style as long as I'm making movies and writing stories. Ultimately, I make films and write stories for myself more than anything.
