RE Veteran here. Have been playing for 20 years, and have gotten so good that I beat each title with no help, on hardened, on the first try. But these modes on 2make kill me. I can't grasp it. I know it's literally the same thing as EX Battle and Operation: Mad Jackyl, and I still play those efficiently, but I just can't get it with these new ones. But you? You look so comfortable and efficient. Thank you so much for this masterclass. 10/10

Already got the Platinum on the PS4 version of Remake. Stupidly deleted my save data though, so this guide is making it a lot easier. Strange coming back to this after getting the platinum on Rebirth. :-)

The damage you are doing to Ellianne is ridiculous, mines is nowhere near what yours is with exactly the same build, early game I put points into inferno agility and strength but respeced after struggling with engstram and put them into vitality and radiance, level 103 and can’t get get Elliane to 25% HP after 30 attempts

Bruh most of these enemies are showing up in my game and I can't shimmy through that crack in chapter 2 after the celler puzzle then I reloading cause I created a manual and now there's nothing I can do and I can't even get back to the cemetery

When I hold block in prime mode against Oden it's 50-50 for Cloud to not do a counter, he blocks the attack but I still take over 3k damage and don't gain any ATB, I feel like I'm going through the other 9 rounds over and over again for an RNG chance against Oden Each time at this point.

My favourite thing about this method is the fact I suck at parry, so prime mode's block mechanic saves my bacon. Cheers for another incredible guide.

The RNG on this one is much worse than Hellions. I’m literally in a rage. Gilgamesh turns Yufi into a frog or Sephiroth destroys the party-even with a full manawall on everyone; hp and all. I can see why so many people quit on this one. One challenge left; one chapter left. Then I can tell Square to fuck itself.

Hello, thank you for the very helpful guide. The problem is that I always lose to Odin and I discovered that I rely on luck when it comes to block and dodge. So, what is the ability that I should not block, especially in prim mode? Edit : just won him now! After rewatch the guide, 1 more challenge to go.

This 100% doesn't work. Idk if they patched it but he now instantly shoots you out of any follow up after triple slash. There's no stun at all on him.

This was by far the hardest of the solo legendary bouts for me. Tips that helped me hit R3 to lock onto the enemy (lol dummy me for not figuring it out earlier). Also for the White Terror just hold R1 before White Terror is about to attack as I thought you had to hit R1 just when he was attacking. Now onto Cloud and Zack!

Diabolic Variant has way too much thought put it in. Not worth it when the targeting in this game is ass. Damaging the boss too much and you pretty much face Enshadow. Just stop as normal and mash. The real variant will die all the same

If your stuck on the Gigaworm. Play as Tifa and when it uses Swallow switch to Aerith and perform Bodygaurd. This will teleport Tifa to Aerith. I'd suggest giving Cloud or Aerith an Ice materia too.

Ffs I think this took me about 20 hours in the end 😂 Was using this strat the whole time but I wasn’t getting to Odin often enough to improve (and couldn’t be bothered fighting him solo in the sim). I kept struggling with Alexander. No matter what I did I was killing one arm at best at the start of the fight. Then I realised I had Lightning and Wind linked to Swiftcast rather than Magic Focus. I was doing myself out of the extra 25% I needed on the Thundaras. Swapped them over and finally nailed it in a time of 14:58. A record I won’t be improving as I’ll never be playing this challenge again for as long as I live. Congrats to all who have done it. Good luck to those still plugging away❤💪🏻

Noooooo! Great guide, TERRIBLE controls. I'm gonna remap them, gotta start again. Luckily, only about an hour in before realising I had used all my 'stasis modules' by accident. You should add a pinned comment (for idiots like me) saying 'be careful about pressing the wrong buttons, using your items, and not realising until an hour into an impossible run' LOL

Managed to complete this about an hour ago and just let my hands rest for a bit, they deserve it after all that 😂 just dumb minigames to do now but im buzzing mate thank you for these guides ❤

I screwed up on the final phase by forgetting to put Chocoking's Cape on Aerith after a phase restart, and STILL managed to finish this after maybe 5 tries against the final Sephiroth phase (I managed to build up 1 ATB manually with Aerith to set up Faith & ATB Ward). That Platinum is now mine thanks to
