Where do you get the eyes for your birds?

Hi, Colored eyes: Suncatchercrafteyes.com Glasseyes.com Amazon - CalCastle Craft Store. Search Animal eyes with black centers. They have a variety of colors available. Black eyes: Amazon - Darice. Search solid black eyes. I think they have colored eyes as well, I just haven't used those. I use the eyes that are sometimes called safety eyes and they include washers. These eyes have a stem that I cut mostly off, I leave just a little bit to glue into the animal. I don’t use the washers, it’s just that style eye I use and they’re included. Hope this helps :)

Hello, I use a jigsaw to cut the pvc and then I sand it with fine grit, then I use a heat gun to bend it. If you check out my channel at youtube.com/@PVCAnimals you’ll see step by step videos and some of just the bending process. Have a wonderful day!

Hey Amanda, I just bought your sitting dog pattern and am clearing my decks getting ready to make a few of those. quick question about paint for small areas, tip of nose etc. Can I use Apple Barrel acrylic paint applied with a brush, rather than mask off the whole animal to spray a nose or beak? Thank you for the great variety of patterns, and the you tube vids, what fun!!

Hi Cynthia, yes on the brush for small areas. I just sponge on latex paints for the spots on the sitting dog. Sorry I don’t know anything about Apple barrel paints. If your animals are made for outside then you just have to be sure to use an exterior paint. Hope this helps :)

Hi, I can't see a way to attach a PDF EAGLE PATTERN IN 3 SIZES This is a COMPLEX pattern that may require 2 people to screw the sides together Large: finished size 24” tall, pattern size 19.75”x28.25” 6" schedule 40 cell/foam core PVC pipe recommended. This size pattern fits tightly on 41” length. FYI: The eagle is 2 pieces that are screwed together.
