Haha, ya the idea was not to demo the knots, but the trick to avoid kinking. However, there are loads of videos on knot tying.

Front attachment eye is for fishing deeper, the rear, shallow. Great lures, if you know how to use them 🤐

I'm using 40lbs. AFW 7x7. I can't seem to get that perfection loop knot to cinch down tight. Any advice or is 40lbs too heavy to cinch a tight knot?

I've used 40lb, just pull it really tight.

@@bbarrybarnes Yeah that seems to be the problem. I figured I needed at least 40lbs for muskie fishing. But when you have to pull everything extremely hard to cinch, it seems like a kink is almost unavoidable at that point.

I have a question about the Westin lure Platypus. I just got my Platypues 22 cm version, but as it turns out it does not have a metal ball inside the body of the lure that would make clacking sound. Can you tell me how to tell which Platypus lures contain the ball and therefor has also this rattle?

Glad you like them. Solid swims are not something I use a lot, but maybe i should as they are very popular. I prefer a jointed option, as it has more movement... but sometimes maybe less movement is better.

Add the swivel to the front hook. Backhook has one anyway. And a thinwired anything on a fastach connection will want to come out, especially on the cast.

Yes, the Sunline is great. I have started using the Asegai most. I love the colour. It is thicker than most Sunline as it is rated by LB Test, not max break as the Small Game and Siglon. The Small Game is the best they do, but this is obviously reflected in the price. We are very short of all Sunline stock, as it has been a tough year with supply chains. However hopefully we can get more early 2023. Merry Christmas.

I have an older Plano blue magnum satchel (i hear the new ones are not built as well) as my walleye box and was locking for another for saltwater. I don't like packing bulky gear or things i don't need. I think i will go with the 4000 without the bottom cases. Do small hooks stay in place in the top compartments when the lid is closed and it is turned up on its side ?

Hi, the street stick is a softer rod, I prefer the T&C as it has a bit more backbone, but still nice and light.

Oh my God, please... you should NOT be using a Fastach clip to connect a lure to a leader! Even adding a swivel is not going to prevent a pike levering itself off and the result will be a lure left in the fish. Use a proper snap link, such as a staylok snap. People seeing this need to know what you're doing is very wrong. I hope you read this and re-think what you're doing before you learn the hard way and kill a pike. Thank you.

I've been using Fastach snaps exclusively for about 3 years for ALL my fishing, with NO swivel. Pike, perch, zander, bass, trout... not lost a SINGLE fish that took the lure off the snap. They are extensively used around Europe too. Not sure what kind of fastach snaps you've experienced and we're all entitled to our opinion, but yours on this occasion is wrong.

Have you ever used a Fastach clip? It does not sound like you have (unless you've been using cheap Chinese ones). I (and thousands of others) have been using them for years without one single problem, not one!
