"Obsolete" is a relative term that applies best for people with the best market access to the latest technology. When the newest tech is manipulated by companies to be kept behind paywalls and govt related access barriers insurmountable to most willing consumers, then those consumers that cannot economically effectively access and use newer tech will use and service older tech. Acceptance of newer technology is NOT always a given, and you can find proof of this by looking up companies that failed over the years because not enough people accepted and used their new ideas and products.

This is good information, but it seems more like basic electronics than advanced.

BUT....there's no compiler, no download, almost any voltage, not static sensitive, and enough "oomph" to drive many loads directly...it "just works"!
