Great coaster, very smooth for a wood coaster. The Lightening Racer at the far rear of the park is just slightly more intense (and A LOT less smooth), and has almost no wait time all day long. Best time for the Comet is when the park first opens and when people start leaving toward closing time. Otherwise the line is very long, so try the Lightening Racer instead. I wish they would make more coasters in this size range, cause the hyper-coasters scare me.

I used to work at the restaurant/arcade next to this. Can't tell you how many people would ask me every day how to get to the great bear, everyone loved it.

Probably one of my favorite coasters at HP! Fahrenheit is my favorite though.

i was on it with my mother and since im 12 and the bar is one long thing for both seats i had to hold on for dear life or i would fall

Best ride

I was on it on sunday and i was not prepared for it to feel like i was legit flying it was so fun the people me and my friend were paired with were so funny i love this ride so much

I got my best friend on this ride yesterday and she was terrified but in the end she loved it so much we had to go on again this is the best ride for people that are scared of roller coasters and are trying to overcome their fears❤

That ride will prob be my first ride since it don’t look scary at all

Just went to the park yesterday. First ride since the revamp. I'm 66, and went on with my son & daughter both in their 30's. Sorry to say, it wasn't the cool experience we remembered. Is it wild? Yes over the top wild. Will we ride it again? A collective no! Not negative, just not for us. True wooden roller coasters are our passion. So we will stick with the Comet and Lightening Racers going forward. To those who enjoyed it, awesome, ride on... Peace.

Love love the coaster. Don’t really understand the theming, maybe because it’s in the “boardwalk” section of the park. Could be themed differently

Bro this ride is awesome and I love how bumpy it is. It’s just one of the OG coasters I hope they will never take down. This ride has all my family memories of roller coasters in this. Great ride! :)

I rode this yesterday twice. Loved it. Might be my favorite roller coaster. This is Fury 325 from Carowinds.

Horizon lock is the worst

Its a shame that Thunderbirds hsd to be taken down but this is a good ride

I'm not normally a woody kinda girl. As they are usually to rough. Just road comet last week. It was glass smooth. It may not be as intense as the 200 foot monster beside it. But comet is right up there in just being a fun ride.

This ride was AWESOME. The time when you drop down facing backwards is so fun!
