Love this song. This was their last big smash in the United States. They continue to have hits yet they did not peak as high. They were still popular but not like the early to mid 70s.

If it is Karen, the sound has been highly modified. Definitely not her unmodified voice, and not nearly as good.

It's so mice to go back and relive the beauty of karen carpenters pure angelic voice and a simple time when songs were so gentle and kinda campy! I will always love the carpenters, I am a 70,s child and my mother had their 8 tracks, Remer them? I think I wore the thing out! Now that I'm older. I still love her voice and can appreciate even more over the years, what a true legend she was!

@@ethanfishell1930yes everyone knows that, but this doesn’t sound like her recording. 🙄. Karen made extremely identifiable sounds as she formed her words, because of the way her mouth was, and I don’t hear that hear in this unless they’ve been edited out.
