But how exactly is Fairtex BGV1 that different from the Raja glove? I understand that Raja and Twins look very similar due to having more cushioning and have that bulkier appearance as Fairtex is a more compact glove but are they THAT different that you wouldn't even want to compare the Fairtex brand to the other Thai boxing brands?

to practice body kicks we usually have it so one hand is behind the other to give a but of extra padding and then u can also put them so your fingertips are parallel for less experienced kickers

Yes Sir, as a pure Boxer I can easily confirm your opinion on Twins. I've tried them myself out in 16oz. Seriously, they felt not good, too tight, too stiff, couldn't close my hand to a good fist, and not mention that in Boxing we wrap our hands by 4.5 meter wraps, but not possible in these Twins. To me they rather felt like gloves for teenager.

Fightstorepro (formerly Fightstoremma) has been such a good project over the years but I find it amazing people watching the videos doing reviews don't consider the fact we very very publicly state our affiliations and perhaps likes and dislikes. Truth is FSPRO doesn't stock gear it doesn't believe in. Sometimes we don't stock gear we think is good but no good value, we dropped a couple of major boxing brands due to that reason. We had to drop TWINS Boxing gear due to them having a major legal problem but we still believe Twins are great. We brought in a lesser known brand in RAJA boxing to replace them which we feel are just as good.

I prefer the BGL6 than the BGV9 and the BGL7( BGV9 lace up version). It’s have way softer padding so when you sparring, it gonna protect your hand and your sparring partner better.

Its not the worlds best Big Guy glove. Fairtex make SMALL size gloves. this is an improvement on BGV1 but if you're a big guy I'd use RAJA, REVGEAR (THAI MADE VERSION) or maybe even a none thai glove like our friends at Union. I nearly broke my left hand boxing for a year in BGV1
@SubaruWRC19964 ай бұрын
My hands are a medium size and Twins fit me really well and I think I can still fit hand wraps on underneath. I also tried Fairtex but Twins fit me perfectly. I've got boot bananas for my gloves to absorb moisture and make them smell nice plus got some handwraps to wear too.

I have a question, i am 6,1 weighin 86+ but my hands arent bigger than average, what could be the best tightiest 16 oz's gloves for me. I recently bought Cleto Reyes Lace ups, and they where really tight in the wrists.. obviously but my fingertops couldnt reach the top. Please guys and girls!! feel free to give Advice on tight 16 ozers!!!!

Alex used to make honest videos, now he’s so clearly biased towards Revgear, I assume to get cheaper stock from them. Very tragic. There’s a reason not a single top fighter uses them. Ignore this shockingly biased content.
@FSPRO4 ай бұрын
Sorry you feel that way. Revgear is a legit but have just never spent $$$ on buying athletes... don't you think this is a more likely reason why you just don't see fighters using them? Which brand are you most interested in? :)
@ALEX-WRIGHT4 ай бұрын
@Zarri I have always made honest videos. My question to you would be what is it I'm saying that is inaccurate? Bias? Yep, I'm biased towards good quality items. REVGEAR is a good brand but I have a solid affiliation actually with several brands , yes including REVGEAR and if you look across all my videos I have pointed out weaknesses in their products too. I've been involved with the REVGEAR brand for many years and I've made no secret about it, I've also been involved with many others. If you look across many videos I'm straight about that. Are you saying I'm not telling the truth or is it possible that I am featuring a brand I believe is actually very good? BTW Stipe Miocic, Henry Cejudo, Brad Pickett, Korean Zombie and more than I can even think of right now use the brand without ever having been paid to do so. I think it's kind of a naive comment to think that the "Top fighters" are not paid specifically to promote certain brands..... Your channel is a football channel, a sport full of endorsements and sponsorships. There are probably fringe brands making kit better than NIKE, doesn't mean Messi will use them when he can get paid serious money to use perhaps a decent but inferior product. GSP endorsed Hayabusa for years but mainly used Cleto Reyes in the gym. I know guys at Tristar so this is on very good authority. I don't get "cheaper stock" I have been actively involved in their development. So I know what has gone into making many of their products. REVGEAR are a great brand but I've on multiple occasions pointed out why Century bob, Fairtex Maddox, Fuji, FGV19 (Fairtex) and so many more are excellent choices, I'm not involved in all of them. I've Boxed for over 30 years, I'm a BJJ Black Belt and Competed in many sports. I've been in this industry for over 20 years, how many KZfaq reviewers actually have that experience? Some but not many. BTW, I checked out your channel its pretty decent.

Hey Alex, what 18oz Muay Thai brand do you recommend to spar with? And what brand would you recommend for pads and the heavy bag? Fairtex, Twins, Top King, etc
@ALEX-WRIGHT4 ай бұрын
There is no particular brand. 18oz however is a glove most Muay Thai brands don't produce in any real way as far as I've seen across 20 years. Most the long established brands; Fairtex, Windy, Twins, etc then add in MMA brands like Revgear, Venum and others all make great gloves. Genuinely there is no best brand. There are good examples and some bad ones in every brand. Find whats comfortable for you and go with it.
