I love you pastor Steven Furtick and I've been listening to you for several years and you have helped me so much. BUT it drives me crazy to hear you say it's stupid to pray for patience. I was an extremely inpatient person. I also knew to be careful what you pray for but I've been praying for patience and the strength to get me through the challenges when they come and if God hadn't put me through some situations and conflicts that stretched me to the point that I felt like if someone breathed wrong I would break, I wouldn't have as much peace for myself and in my life that I have now. Patience as you know is a very important process to God. It's definitely not a comfortable transformation but I can handle myself, situations, my CHILDREN and HUSBAND (lol) so much more responsibly and lovingly. There is sooo much growth from asking for patience. It allows me to hear God and understand him clearer and to know while I'm feeling distant from God and needing answers to questions I'm seeking from him that I can't find, he's testing me through my patience. Seeing if I will have peace and trust in him while waiting no matter how long the wait is. I wouldn't be as blessed right now if it weren't for me praying for patience and God getting me through each of those challenges.

I feel this sermon is for me I was 15 months clean I relaadse and I started praying and I realize that I learn alot in my darkness that I was so heavy and I depressed now I have over a week clean started listening to your sermons thank you I had felt awful for going backwards now I have a new way of realizing realizing it was for something that God taught me thank you God blessings to you and evolution church
